AMAZING HOTEL, WELL SITUATED, CLEAN & FRIENDLY

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness. What more could we ask for. First class hotel.
Cons: More milk pots each day as we do love our coffee. lol
Location: The Eiffel Tower was 3 minutes from the Hotel with very good Taxi service there also. Beautiful restaurant & amazing bakery just round corner.
First time in Paris and what a great time we both had. The hotel was everything stated on Expedia but most of all the staff were so friendly and caring. One receptionist in particular was named Mouna. We arrived on 7/7/14 for 3 nights. Had some problems with shuttle service but that could have been resolved quickly if i had printed out the vouchers!!!. This was totally my fault. However the hotel staff sorted out our transport and made sure the shuttle was there for our departure on the 10/7/14. Mouna on reception that morning was so lovely and reassured us that the shuttle would arrive on time as arranged. Sure enough shuttle arrived and flight home was great. Although the weather in Paris was not quite what we expected but Paris certainly made up for it. Thank you Expedia for great holiday. Will certainly use your service again and Easy Jet flight was first class service. We were very pleased with them. :)

Hotel near Eiffel Tower

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: The staff are great and the clean, fresh rooms are better than most I have stayed in in Paris.
Cons: Coffee was missing in the room. Rooms are not too small but not great for families unless book 2 rooms I suppose.
Location: Easy walk to Eiffel Tower and Petit&Grand Palais. Musee d'Orsay is one stop away. The absolute must do is the Rodin Gardens near Varenne metro.
Very helpful staff, clean and modern rooms. Can open windows. Feels a bit like home with warm foyer. Good location near Eiffel Tower and Metro. Slightly quiet area. Loved it.

WE LOVED BEING IN THE CENTER OF THINGS. EACH NIGHT WE WATCHED THE SPARKLE LIGHTS ON EIFFLE TOWER. WE FELT SAFE AND HAPPY.

Very nice short stay.

Pros: The location.
Nice small hotel 5 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower which is the only reason why I selected this hotel. Hotel staff very nice. Room was just fine, nice bathroom, bed cleanliness was questionable, but otherwise everything was just fine.

Great for Eiffel Tower, close to RER.

Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Refill the mini bar as stated in the reservation.
We had a suite which was really only a larger room that slept three. We ended up getting a handicapped bathroom which was a large tiled room. It was made for wheel chair access as the shower was right in the room with no doors or curtains. Made it difficult to shower and still allow someone to use the toilet or get ready at the sink as there was no privacy. Expensive for what we thought we were getting.

Lovely boutique hotel I certainly will visit again

Posted Apr 2, 2014
I travelled with my sister and 3 year old daughter and had booked the suite. First impressions were great. We were welcomed by a very warm and friendly girl, she gave us any important info we needed to know and made us feel right at home. The look of the hotel was better than I had expected. Clean, modern and tasteful. Our suite was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The decor was lovely. Really could not fault our stay. Location and budget is perfect. It is a couple of minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and has a lovely bakery a couple of doors down for croissants etc Restaurants are all within a 5 min walk. I really could not recommend the Derby Alpha enough. It's nice to know I don't have to shop for places to stay on my next visit to Paris, as this hotel will be my first port of call. Thank you to the lovely staff, you are all doing a great job.
