Disneyland hotel parisPosted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: Magic hour, location and the two express passes we got.
Cons: Only that the decor was a little tired.
Location: Right at the gates, close enough to return to hotel if required...the Disneyland train stops at the entrance and hence the hotel.
We had a really good experience at the Disneyland hotel. It costs a lot but location and magic hours are worth it and booking for one night still gave access to the park for 2 days...totally worth the money. The staff were english speaking, helpful and efficient and gave us little tips like ride suggestions and the fact we would be better to make a reservation for dinner to ensure a table. We had limited time so it was totally worth the outlay to stay the Disneyland hotel. It's a bit tired, but it doesn't distract from the experience and our kids loved it. Getting two sets of express passes for two rides was great.

Lovely hotel...shame about ride closures.Posted Mar 20, 2013
Pros: Customer service
Cons: Park closures
Location: RIGHT ON the entrance to Disneyland - you literally take an elevator into the park!
Great throwback of a hotel, fantastic customer service in the Castle Club....just VERY disappointed that Disney only managed to open half the park! Bad weather is no excuse - if we can make it there from London on the roads, then so can their local staff!

Absolutely Magical!Posted Mar 15, 2013
If you're going to Disneyland Paris then the Disneyland Hotel is the only place to stay! The hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was sumptuous and magical looking. I thought it might look a little tired after 20 years but it didn't. Everywhere was beautifully clean and the decor really matched the whole theme of a fairytale wonderland. Even our mirrors in the ensuite bathroom had Disney characters carved in the wood of the frame. Meeting the characters at breakfast was a dream come true for my two children, and the buffet breakfast was to die for. What a choice! The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect - right at the entrance to the parks. My only gripe is, waiting at check-in took an awfully long time, and we were unable to dine in the hotel restaurant that night because we had not booked in advance. Perhaps that was a good thing because at 30 euros plus per head, it was horrendously expensive! A special thank you to Isabelle who served us at reception when we missed our Eurostar home. She really looked after us and managed to give us an extra night in the hotel at 30% discount. Real 5 star service, thank you very much. We'd definitely come back!

Great locationPosted Nov 6, 2012
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: Cleaning staff were a little surly
Location: Right at the entrance to the park
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't cleaned until 5pm one day and cleaner was not happy when she couldn't gain immediate access to clean the room as my daughter was in the shower. The hotel decor looked a little tired and just outside the hotel was a small dried in pool of vomit. Positively room size was good and location was excellent.

Expensive but great for a treat for Disney fansPosted Oct 29, 2012
Pros: The magical apprearance and meeting the characters.
Cons: Not much to do on an evening in the hotel. Some staff can be quite abrupt.
This is the 2nd time we've been to this hotel and the experience of dining amonst the characters is wonderful but you have to pay the (very expensive) price. This time, we were not impressed with being put in the Disney Suites for an evening meal and breakfast as I do not think there was the same amount of choice.

Magical but at a price!Posted Oct 11, 2012
Pros: Dining experience with Disney characters for the children and location on park.
Cons: Cost of everything that was not included..
Location: This hotel is the entrance to Disneyland Park
This hotel is in a great location on park and offers some great experiences, such as dining with Disney characters, which children find magical, however this comes at a price, I would strongly recommend booking this on a half board or full board basis, as the bead and breakfast option that we booked, proved to be extremely expensive when you factor in the cost of the evening meals or room service or mini bar. The only real options for dinner are the hotel restaurants, of which there are only two, as most of the restaurants on the park close early and/or only offer basis 'happy meal' type options, and the restaurants in the hotel cost us circa €140 per night for two adults and 1 4 year old, without any additional wine etc.. the buffet was €51 per head per night. Also the swimming pool is too small for the size of hotel and gets full very quickly, so this has limited availability, especially for younger families. Overall, the experience was good, but beware of the costs of food and opt for full board...

Worth the money!Posted Oct 9, 2012
Pros: Location could not be better especially when traveling with a toddler.
Cons: Yes it needs update but compared to "European" hotels, it's still outstanding (large rooms with all the US comforts).
Location: Located right at the doors of Disneyland Park. After walking around all day, it's nice not having to hike back to a hotel.
I debated whether to spend the extra money to stay at this hotel, let me tell it's worth it. Great location, comfort and extras features such as arcade, indoors pool, kids club/play area.
