Pros: Well themed
Cons: Self service breakfast could be improved
Location: Ideally located very close to Disney Village. On resort so both Theme Parks and all facilities are very convenient
Everything went smoothly and as expected very happy

Excellent hotel

Posted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: It was close to Disney attractions- a couple of minutes walk and you were in Disneyland. The pool, hot tub and sauna was good and not crowded.
Location: We couldn't have been nearer to Disney- very useful if it rained.
The hotel was really nice, it was clean and warm. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Short walk to the theme parks

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Nice and close to Disney Village and theme parks. Good sized, comfortable beds and free wifi.
Cons: Not much choice in terms of restaurants in the hotel. Really only the bar or room service. In room safes should be bigger - far too small.
Location: Disneyland!!
The Hotel New York does not come across as being a theme suitable for families as the hotel is quite bare (from a theme point of view). Great location as it is a short walk through Disney Village to the theme parks. French staff, as per usual, are not overly helpful. Safes in the rooms are far too small. Only big enough to keep passports and very small items. Read notices near the lifts each day as they do post information that could affect your stay. They were going to have a power cut from 11.30pm to 6.30am on the day we left (fortunately) and this was announced on small notice board near the lifts. If staying there with a young family, a power cut all night is not ideal and frankly the cost of the room is way too high for this to be acceptable (without any sort of alternatives offered or compensation). The hot items for breakfast are not overly hot. The concept of having to book your breakfast slot seems pointless and out of date as only the extreme times are available for the first 1-2 days of your visit and you are told that you don't need to worry and can show up any time.

Nice hotel close to disneyland but..

Posted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Room is pleasant and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Hairdryer available in the bathroom.
Cons: If you want to make your own tea/coffee, there is no kettle in the room and there is no fridge to keep your food either. Very small safe in the room.
Location: Disneyland park is nearby and also the disney village with lots of restaurants, but are very expensive with a basic meal costing at least 15 euros.
The room is pleasant and spacious enough for a family of 4. Hairdryer is available in the bathroom and plenty of fresh towels. The staff at checkin were very helpful. We had very good experience at the Manhattan restaurant for breakfast. One morning, there were no outdoor tables prepared so we were preparing to have breakfast inside, but one of the staff kindly offered to prepare a table for us so we could enjoy a peaceful breakfast. Plenty of photo opportunities with characters, there are 2 characters daily between 8:30am and 11:00am ( approx times). The safe in the room is very small, will take a few passports and phones. If you were thinking of leaving your Ipad in the safe then forget it, unless you can fold your Ipad to a third of its size :-).

Pros: Location to park is really convenient 2 hours of park time in the morning open to only Disney hotels Characters in the lobby in the morning
Cons: Rooms need update Need amenities like hot water kettle Room service menu is tiny not much for vegetarians
Location: About 2 mins walk to Disney village
The location is its saving grace other than that the hotel is not that great.
