Disney's Dream Castle Hotel Paris

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Not much. The Muskateers bar was really nice. The staff there were welcoming.
Cons: Staff attitude.
We were really disappointed with the hotel. Most of the staff were unhelpful. There was no atmosphere and no characters. The Buffet restaurant was overpriced, the meat was half cooked and tough. It cost us more to eat at the hotel than Planet Hollywood. Buffet Restaurant was drab and shabby. There was no concierge and if you needed information or help you had to queue with people checking in and out. We never saw a concierge at all during our visit.

Disneyland Paris hotel doesnt deliver on promise

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Myself and my family arrived at the hotel to be told that there are no longer any porters so I had to transfer my own luggage. Then I was told that there would be an hours extra wait for our rooms to be ready. My sister found a pen knife in her sons bed, to be told that it was her fault that there was an item in the bed. Incredibly poor service apart from the manager who was very good with us.

Hotel close proximity to Disneyland Paris

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: It was quite near to the Disney parks, not walking distance but fortunately a shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes until midnight.
Cons: Bathroom needs updating i.e. grout discoloured. Breakfast facilities badly set out and unpleasant, all self service and limited food selection.
Location: Good location for the Disney Parks including the village for entertainment, good restaurants with a choice of venue to suit everyone
Checked in and went to our room, however we had booked a twin room with two queen beds, but was given a king bed with a bunk bed, classified as a family room. We saw the same person who had checked us in thankfully and told her that the original booking was for two queen beds, eventually we got the room we originally booked! Didn't like the baggage storage offered after vacating the room, anyone can store their bags and access the room admittedly with a key from reception, but it is accessed in trust and to be honest anyone could look through your belongings if not secured. The staff were very helpful, particularly when our transportation did not arrive to take us back to the airport.

Wonderful holiday at disney

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: It was clean and children loved the bunk beds in room they clean room every day and room staff were always ready to provide anything you needed.
Cons: The bus from Disney to hotel was very packed and we found it difficult to get on at times with a pushchair also check in at hotel was very slow.
Location: nice location not to far to Disney parks.
had a wonderful holiday with daughter and grandchildren who had come to stay from New Zealand found the hotel very comfortable and child friendly and they totally enjoyed ever minute at the Disney park would definitely return for another visit.

Poor quality rooms

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Nice foyer area, lovely outdoor area.
Cons: The standard of the rooms is poor, the carpets most certainly need replacing.
Location: As it was a short break, Disneyland has more than enough to keep you busy!
Although the hotel information states the shuttle to Disneyland was every 10 minutes, on arrival we were informed that it was actually every 20 minutes, which was disappointing when you are only there for a short break. Once we finally checked into our room (do not bother trying to check in a minute earlier than the 3pm check in time), the carpet was heavily stained and really dirty (not pleasant when you have a small child who plays on the floor), despite informing housekeeping no action was taken to rectify the issue. We never really queued for breakfast, although as were leaving the dining room on Sunday morning after 9am the line was backing up the stairs, although in fairness there are plenty of signs stating the best time to eat to avoid the queues. I would really only describe the breakfast as continental, as the cooked section was largely inedible (cold scrambled eggs, scrappy bacon). Although we had a wonderful time at Disney and will return again, I would try another hotel as Dream Castle failed to meet our expectations for the price we paid.

4 star?We didn't even get complimentary water

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Room had 2 corners like an attic. I banged my head when I got up from looking for something in my suitcase. Surprised to not even get a bottle of complimentary water. I would rate this a 3 star. The only thing that made up for it was the good breakfast.

Nice hotel, good location for Disneyland Paris.

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Only one member of staff at check in on our arrival, not what you want after a long journey, people were had to wait a long time to be served. However, the service all staff gave was first class. The food was excellent with plenty of choice, both at the buffet dinner and breakfast, seating guests for both was very efficient. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped, with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. We would have liked towels large enough for adults which still had some pile on them. Overall it was an excellent hotel and we would stay there again if we needed that location.

Pleasing hotel with a nice garden.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The location is awesome. Rooms are big and spacious.
Cons: The check in takes a lot of time. I had to wait nearly for an hour to check in.
The activities in foyer of reception are great for kids. The kettle in our room was not working and in evening when we asked for a replacement we were told they dint hve spare and they will replace in morning. My parents have a habit of drinking tea or coffee before bed, which they could not. The next day also this kettle was not replaced.

A cozy accommodation for trip!

Posted Sep 11, 2014
The breakfast is good. The waiting schedule for breakfast is very useful. The location is bit remote but shuttle bus is helpful. In general, it's an excelent accommodation for vacation!
