Good hotel for Disney experience

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Large hotel so queue for breakfast was long, again to be expected but staff always helpful and food selection good. Foyer games for children good.
Cons: Pool changing area not clean although pool was acceptable.
Location: Just went to Disney as only there for two days so did not visit anywhere else
Shuttle bus to and from Disney park great, packed but to be expected in August. Would have helped if driver or screen gave info about which hotel was the next stop especially when first arriving.

Good quality hotel close to Disney

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Large hotel with Good size rooms and facilities. Good links to Disney and trains via shuttle bus. Hotel was extremely busy and appeared under staffed with long wait times for breakfast and reception. Rooms were bright and clean. Staff all keen to help, knowlegable and multi lingual. Food quality a little disappointing. Overall a good experience.

Lovely hotel

spent 2 nights in Dream castle, booked a family room, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 5, Children thought it was magical. Very clean, breakfast was included which had a great selection for everyone. Regular buses to and from park to Disney. Swimming pool in the hotel was a great unwind after hectic days in the park. Would definitely return x

Nice hotel in country setting.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Its country setting with pleasant walk down to the lake. The rooms are very quiet,no noise could be heard from adjoining rooms. The free courtesy bus.
Cons: Cooked items on breakfast often not very warm.
Location: Country location with nice short walk to lake. Climbing frame for children. Free Courtesy bus to Disney parks.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had no problems with the staff or cleanliness of the rooms. .Some of our party had no kettle or coffee etc also one day there was a shortage of towels but after reporting the problems to reception these issues were soon rectified. After reading about queues at breakfast we fully expected a problem but going down at 8 o clock we had no problem. A problem we had one night we went for a bar meal but were told they were not serving as it had been quiet, but were able to order from room service the identical menu which seems rather strange, and had to pay additional cost for room service.

Came here for my daughters 5th birthday, found the staff to be very helpful, the hotel was clean & well maintained. They left balloons on our bed, we also had the birthday package which was well worth the money, would stay here again!

Dream castle outside of park

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Rooms were nice
Cons: More shuttle buses put on during the busiest times of the day.
Location: Close proximity to park via shuttle bus, not within walking distance and nothing nearby within walking distance. Without a car, you are very limited.
Arrived at train station about 5pm and found the shuttle bus stop with ease, very well signposted. Getting on the shuttle bus was another matter! The same shuttle bus is shared with 4 other hotels on the outskirts of the park. Bus was terribly over-crowded and with two suit cases and 2 children, it was not a pleasant journey to the hotel at all. Had to wait some time to check-in due to lack of staff working at reception desk. The hotel room was clean with a king-size bed and bunk beds which the children absolutely loved. Food options were limited. Either had to eat buffet or order limited dishes from room service. Despite food being advertised in bar, it was only available as room service, for which there was a 7Euro charge. We had two burgers with chips and two pizzas delivered to the room which came to £60. The food was fine, although they were over-generous with the salt on the chips! The buffet is about £30 a head so a family of four could quite easily write off between £60-£100 for an evening meal. Swimming pool was disappointing given such a big hotel. The hotel lobby had too many over- priced arcade style games for our liking. My advice would be to stay at a hotel in the park which would be better value and avoid the chaos of the shuttle buses at pinch points during the day.

Lovely hotel ideally set up for disneyland

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Overall the hotel was clean, modern and well situated just minutes from Disneyland which was served by a brilliant free shuttle bus. Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did find the restaurant staff quite unfriendly and rude at times though. Didn't spoil our trip.

NICE HOTEL, NEAR TO DISNEYLAND WITH A GOOD SHUTTLE

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Most things.
Cons: Buffet dinner.
Location: Overall, a good choice if you are visiting Disneyland.
Clean, modern hotel with good facilities, designed to appeal to families, with the emphasis on children, with characters and several games machines in the lobby. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are both excellent. Wifi good with stronger signal available for €9 a day. Buffet breakfast included in the price is excellent. Buffet dinner is very expensive and the food was disappointing. The hotel bar is excellent and the bar snacks are also very good.
