Lovely hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness, the staff and the location
Cons: The food, in particular, could be improved. A note to those staying there, make sure you get to breakfast early, it gets busy!
Location: Disneyand Paris is just a 10 minute free shuttle bus ride away and they were reliable and ran frequently.
I have just returned from a two night stay at the Dream Castle Hotel with a friend. We stayed at the hotel for our weekend trip to Disneyland Paris and really enjoyed our stay. On our arrival the lovely lady on reception (I think her name was Enrica) helped us no end after we revealed the travel issues we had getting to them, we'd been grossly overcharged by a guy at Gare du Nord for our RER travel to the station. We were both, as you can imagine, upset and angry at being duped but on finding out this lady helped explain to us what we should have been charged, what we might be able to do to get our money back and even went as far as upgrading us from a standard room in which we would share a double bed to a room with 2 double beds in. We can't thank her enough for the help on Friday evening and she really helped us feel better. The room itself was lovely. Number one, it was huge, the beds we had were about 5ft wide and we had one of those each, they were comfy, well made and a good night's sleep was had by us both. Number two, it was very clean. The free shuttle service to and from the parks was very reliable and frequent. After 9AM they ran every 10 minutes so it was very easy to get to the parks and back again. It ran fairly late too so if we had wanted to stay out for dinner it would have been easy for us to get back. The only thing that wasn't too great was the food but overall we enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again.

Best Disney Partner HotelPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: I particularly liked the theme and high level of comfort provided.
Cons: The vending machines in the games room were not dispensing the coins required to play the computer games and this needed repair.
Location: The Dream Castle is very close to the Disney parks and is serviced by a regular shuttle bus. There is also a large park with lake behind it for walks.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was a quiet period and they were willing to accommodate any reasonable requests. My partner and I were able to enjoy the swimming pool to ourselves for a good hour and it was clean and comfortably warm. Would strongly recommend this hotel as a good alternative to a Disney Hotel if you are working to a budget. There is also the advantage that as the hotel boasts a Disney shop you can have your purchases from the park sent back to the hotel. We tried this with the photos from one of the rides and it worked perfectly well. There was also a very useful option for late check out which we booked but then had to cancel and the staff were really good about this. It was a good hotel as a couple because where they can the hotel try to put you in the quieter areas of the hotel. It is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in (even when it was busier on a previous stay) which was very pleasant. The Dream Castle definitely deserves its rating.

I should've saved more money! Clean hotel thoughPosted Nov 6, 2013
Well, the hotel room in itself was OK for a 4 star, however it was completely naked. No amenities what so ever, not even a bottle of water. Even the standard things you'll always find in a hotel weren't there, like a couple of hotelgroup magazines, maybe a showercap... just a bed, a small tv which has its volume limited (really fun for someone with limited hearing) and a toilet. I really shouldn't have forgotten my toothbrush, since I was pointed by hotel staff towards a vending machine they had which offered disposable toothbrushes at 8€ a piece! equally expensive were the throw away razors, and pretty much anything else you wanted to buy. Every aspect of the hotel seemed to have cost money, right down to the airhockey table in the lobby which only takes 2€ coins. As any parent might guess, this becomes very expensive, very fast. The breakfast buffet was very poor, powedered eggs with disgustingly greasy bacon, fruit salad which probably came out of a tin from WW2, one slice of ham, one slice of cheese, diced tomatoes aaand a cucumber. If you like Nutella you'll be fine, since they had what looked like a 10kg bowl of it. Who knows how long thats been in there! On the flipside, the staff were actually very friendly. They were as shocked as I was about the toothbrush price!

Family friendly hotel.Posted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Staff were friendly and really good with any requests we made.
Cons: Just small things, like refilling the tea and coffee facilities every day.
Location: We were able to drive to Disneyland and park for free. The shops were only a few minutes drive away too.
We were upgraded to a fabulous room and really enjoyed the experience.Although we have stayed at this hotel many times, this was the best visit ever.

Nice Hotel and convinent to get toPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Convinent to get to from Disney park (5 minutes) on the free shuttle that runs frequently between the parks and the hotel Great View
Cons: room service prices could be revised
Location: There is a Designer Village near by (10mins)
On our trip to Disney Land Paris we stayed at Dream Castle for three nights and found the hotel to satisfactory. Although we were not able to check in in advance but we were offered to leave the luggage in the luggage room. This was helpful as we dumped our luggage and took the free shuttle to Disney Park. The Room service was exceptionally expensive with limited choice. There are two breakfast halls with ample seating and good service and plenty of arcades and games tables in the lobby area. Onsite swimming pool with water slide and separate shallow area for kids.
