Great location. Only two blocks from Metro stationPosted Nov 28, 2013
Location: Eiffel tower at walking distance
Nice small hotel. Friendly and helpful people at the front desk and breakfast room. The front desk person called a taxi for us at 5 am to go to the Orly airport and he even came out to talk to the taxi driver to make sure the driver understood where we were going.

Great location in ParisPosted Nov 14, 2013
Small, clean, modern room. Good breakfast. Great hospitality. Elevator for two people and two large suitcases. Good climate control in our cold weather. Walk to Rue Cler for the market, cafés and shopping. Walk to the Eiffel Tower every night. Block from metro station.

Great Paris HotelPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The friendly staff and the lovely feel to the hotel.
Location: The Eiffel Tower is close by as well as the Military museum with Nepolians Tomb. Otherwise the metro is approx 2 blocks away.
What a great little hotel! Our check in was excellent with the bonus of a up grade and helpful staff. The room was lovely and neat and big for European standards. Lots of lovely little restaurants in walking distance. If you like to change it up a bit there is a great Thai restaurant downstairs on the corner delicious food and friendly family venue. On the right there is a great French restaurant / bar good croissants in the morning and a great place to have a drink at night. Overall we loved staying here!

Very nice.Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Close to bus, train, restaurants and Eiffel Tower. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Variety of breakfasts. Not the same everyday.
Location: Great location near Eiffel Tower and restaurants. Make sure you see the tower at night, starting at 9pm it starts blinking....it is just spectacular.
Nice hotel and close to Eiffel Tower.....10 minute walk. Staff was very helpful in booking a River dinner cruise. Breakfast was ok but they had the same selection everyday. Would love to see some crepes or French toast.

Best Views in Paris, quaint hotel in good locationPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: Eiffel Tower views, location of hotel to ET and metro, Friendly helpful staff, Comfortable bed, Clean and quiet, good air conditioning and amenities
Cons: rm size - depending on the room - a little small. The bathroom is small, needs an outlet, an extra hook & shelving. Need extended shower glass door.
Location: In quaint Rue Cler district - plenty of great restaurants and patisseries. 3 min. walk to Metro, 15 min walk to Eiffel Tower, by Rodin and Invalides
We stayed at Duquesne Eiffel 9/1/2013 for 4 nights. This was my second trip to Paris. Did a ton of research before booking but to be honest the views of the Eiffel Tower got me here. Prior to arriving I had emailed to confirm my reservation and wanted to make sure I had a great view of the ET - I apparently booked the smallest room w/o a view and they could not upgrade me to a room with a view because those rooms are booked a yr in advance - I'm sure. I was disappointed to say the least but I was disappointed now instead of upon arrival - the person I was corresponding with was very nice and compassionate & said she would do what she could for us when we got there. Upon check in I did not even ask about the rooms w/a view as I was prepared for a basic room. To my delight, she upgraded us for free to a rm w/a partial view of the ET for 3 nights, then we would have to change rooms - the maid would move us. I was so happy and laying in bed you could see the ET perfectly. The rm was the smallest room we had been in out of the 6 hotels we stayed in throughout Italy prior to our 4 nights here. When we moved rooms - it was so much bigger - even the bed, if you stuck your head out the window to the right, we had an even better view of the ET. The rooms are clean and made up daily, the bed is really comfortable, complimentary bottled water. Quaint neighborhood, by the Rue Cler - many great restaurants and shopping. Near metro - 15 min walk to Eiffel Tower. Great Experience!

Nice and convenientPosted Aug 27, 2013
We stayed at the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel for six nights. The staff were very helpful and provided tips for travel and sightseeing around Paris. The room was basic but plenty of space for two people. The room also had air conditioning which was nice as it over 30C for some of the days we were there. The hotel is located near the Ecole Militaire and two blocks from the nearest Metro station. Very central and convenient for getting to all of the tourist attractions. There is also a grocery store, laundromat, and bank machine nearby so that was a nice bonus. The hotel also provides an optional buffet breakfast which we had every morning. I was traveling with my picky 15 year old son who said the selection of food was pretty good. Overall, it was a decent hotel in a great location and I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Hotel with CharacterPosted Aug 24, 2013
Cons: Sound proofing
Location: The Eiffel tower is a short pleasant walk
This hotel was suggested to me by a friend. We found it super cute! The hotel is small. The rooms are small and the elevator is thin. It was a great atmosphere with lots of personality. The only problem we ran into is that when I came home around 12AM, we found out how thin the walls are...if you know what I mean. The woman at the front desk was super nice, helpful, and smiley. She gave us a GREAT map and all the directions we needed. She acted like she actually enjoyed her job.

Worst Honeymoon Experience Ever!Posted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Breakfast in the basement.
Cons: Shower tubs are slippery.
Location: Eiffel Tower was about a 15 minute walk; couple of blocks away.
My husband and I were finishing up our honeymoon around Europe in Paris, France. We arrived at the hotel to have the front desk attendant tell us that we had one of the nicer rooms. Then she said in order to get there you have to go to floor 5 then go down the stairs to floor 4 because the elevator isn't working. About an hour or two since we had been in our corner room with a view of the eiffel tower we get a phone call from the front desk attendant saying there was a mix up with our room and that we'd have to move into another room. They offered us a bottle of champagne for the mix up. The next thing I know we get a knock on the door to help move our luggage to our downgraded room. We had a much smaller room; went from a king size bed to a queen size, and two windows down to one. I was about ready to find a new hotel because I was so upset over this, but we were only there for one night so we tried our best to enjoy the champagne they gave us.

Nice comfortable & cleanPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Enjoyed my stay! Felt very welcomed. Great staff. Breakfast was not worth the cost, very limited options on what to eat. My room was very comfortable & clean. Location was good. May need to take metro for some areas unless you love to walk like I do. Overall will recommend :)
