“Great location, great hotel for museum hopping--I'll go back again”
The hotel is located near by must see places like the Louvre, Tuileries garden, Concorde, DoOrsay museum, Orangerie, and etc. Also, two major Metro stations are only a couple blocks away so that you can access to Montmartre and Montparnasse without transferring to another Metro. Over all, if your goal is to do sightseeing then, it is a great place to be. However, there are many small hotels like this near by, so I personally don't think you must stay at this particular one. Rooms are clean, there is a small fridge so it's convenient. A couple of small convenient stores are behind the hotel on St.Honre. It's near by the major street, Rivoli, so it can be a bit noisy at night and in the early morning, but I used to live in NYC, so it didn't bother me that much, but did bothered my mother. WiFi access is very pricey--it's 5 euros for only 30 minutes. There is a public computer on the first floor, so if you only need to check your email occasionally, don't bring your laptop. Breakfast was included in my deal, so I ate there every morning, but the menu is always the same. Boiled eggs, ham, cheese, pastries, and cereal. If you don't like that kind of stuff, not worth it.
“Would definitely not look for anywhere else to stay”
We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of oct, our room was large and very clean, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel 3 mornings of our stay and it was more than adequate. Best thing of all was the location - absolutely brilliant- quiet side street only a few doors off Rue de Rivoli, across the road from the Louvre and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. Would most certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.
“Hotel de qualité.”
accueil excellent, chaleureux et professionnel. Chambre agréable et très propre.Emplacement idéal pour visiter la capitale.
“quaint and very central”
Vey courteous, helpful, comfortable, quiet and centrally located quaint hotel just around the corner from the Paris Vision staging area for all the local trips. Would stay there again.
“Can't wait to go back-for the fifth time.”
Very excellent French experience.
“Would and will go back to on our next visit.”
One can't say enough about the location, because it has been said in every review I have read about this hotel. Our room was on the first floor and over looked the street. At no time did we hear street noise even though it was a main road. We found our room to be large enough for two twin beds and still have lots of room to move around and not get in each others way. Besides the room being large so was the bathroom. Would I stay here again? Yes! Yes! Yes!
“Brilliant location, large room”
We loved this hotel, having never found a decent three star hotel in Paris before. The location was fantastic, 1 minute from the Tuileries gardens, our room was large (unlike normal rooms in Paris - although we did have a superior room) and we even had a balcony. Considering the hotel only has 25 rooms, it was impressive to have a night porter on duty 24 hours a day too.
“Can't wait to go back!!”
This is our second visit to the Louvre Montana and again we were not disappointed. The hotel is excellent and in a superb location. Just a very short walk to the Louvre and Tuilierie Gardens. We stayed in a superior room which has a very large comfortable bed and plenty of room. The staff are extremely helpful and always cheerful. We both adore Paris, but this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in and at a reasonable price. We will certainly be back again!!
“Will stay here again”
Perfect location. Elevator is tiny. Send luggage up by itself and walk up to your room. Room is clean, bathrooms are large. Bring an international converter, no built in one in room. TV only got French speaking stations with French subtitles even though there was an option for English. Stay was very friendly and courteous.
“Good trip to paris”
The staff are english speaking which is a big help for a first time trip to Paris, they are very helpful specially on directions. The location is very close to everything. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely comeback to this hotel.
