Neo-romantic figurative paintings, with a watchful panther here, a horseman grappling with a roaring tiger there, comfortable moleskin settees and a Show more library which is well stocked with books and magazines about Paris combine to give the hotel a unique style. “Mixed feelings”

As indicated by my responses above to specific questions, virtually everything about the hotel was first class. The only qualifying negative (but it is a big one) is that the room was far too small to be relaxing. Not even room for a comfortable chair with a lamp for reading!! So I feel the small room does not justify the price.

Area recommendations
This is a terrific, well-located neighborhood.
