DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTELPosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Because we had a car, we decided to stay here because it offered parking. It is located in a terrible part of town and we were MUGGED at the metro station our first night there. The staff was not helpful at all. The rooms were old and run down. The bathroom had crack tiles, and an old shower. We didn't even shower the two night we were there due to the condition of the bathroom. There was NO Wifi in the rooms. When booking, the slashed price was higher than anything listed on their price listing at the front desk so there really wasn't a discount at all. We prepaid for two nights (otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else once we saw the hotel) and late on our second night there, we received a phone call questioning our payment of the second night. This was my friend's first time in Paris and unfortunately, this hotel choice negatively impacted two of our vacation days on this trip.

Welcome to the Minitru resort...room 101 is free..Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Nothing, really, apart from the price
Cons: Stuffy, poorly ventilated room and the overflowing rubbish bin in the street just outside the front door.
Location: St Denis is basically an inner city area, a little rundown, but vibrant and interesting. I never felt unsafe, but I wouldn't have gone out at night.
Looks OK from the outside. However, where the rooms are located seems to have been inspired by the 1970s Concrete Jungle school of architecture. 5 stories of waterdrip-stained concrete around a bizarre and apparently functionless tarmac courtyard, like something out of "1984". The room was clean enough and there were no unpleasant smells, at least. But it's sort of place where a government would be criticized for holding refugees in.

The bed was very soft. No free wi-fi. If you have a car don't stay here. Some visitors had some problems with the neighborhood.

do NPOT stay at this hotel!!!Posted Jun 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel contributed to the worst experience in my life! The staff was TERRIBLE. They were mean, rude and unwelcoming. Seeing them at the beginning of our trip was an immediate downer...especially since we were already experiencing a bit of a cultural shock - not knowing the language. For example, they treated us like we were filth and when we asked for directions, to the train to get to Paris, they were VERY impatient and unhelpful. Furthermore, the rooms are TINY. We literally could not stand next to one another - or walk passed each other without getting on the bed. FINALLY, we got MUGGED right outside of the hotel. RIGHT IN THE FRONT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT...nobody did anything. One of the staff even came out to watch. THEN when we asked them to call the police, they refused and told us we would just have to go to the police station ourselves. When we goit to the police station, the officer told us, Saint Denis is the worst area and has the highest rate of muggings.

The condition of the rooms is very bad, not even clean. The hostel authority is not ready to help in any matter. Condition of the toilette is horrible.
