Canceled our rom without notice

I reserved the room via expedia and recieved confirmation of the room. I called from the airport and they said they will meet us at the buildging However, when we showed up there was no one there. We called and they said that they gave our room to someone else because we never answered their calls. (When we got back from vacation there were message on my phone but calls were made after we left on vacation). They were very nasty on the phone, refused to help us, and then hung up!. We we left on our own to find a room for the night. If they could treat us so badly I could only imagine what they are like as owners of this room.
