Comfortable place to stay

Posted Aug 13, 2014
This hotel is a good choice. The restaurant has a tasty buffet with a wide selection of items. The rooms are quiet, clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. The only downside was some problem they had with their wifi on the morning I was checking out so that I couldn't check-in online for my flight. I assume that doesn't happen often.

Nice modern hotel close to CDG.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Staff, proximity to airport, food, free internet.
Cons: Computer area with printer for boarding passes.
Location: CDG Airport and Roissy-en-France walking distance. Charming little town.
Very nice multi-language staff. Rooms comfortable and clean, except for carpet which wasn't really bad, but could use a cleaning. Nice bar and very good restaurant with great staff.

Good airport hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Clean, cool rooms with hot showers..... at the airport.
Cons: The wait for the shuttle to get to the hotel from the airport (train station) was at least 30 minutes and not what we needed after a long day.
We were a family of 5 looking for a hotel at the airport prior to catching a flight next morning and this hotel fit the bill nicely. After a long day of sightseeing in the city, it was great to finally check into a clean, cool room and take a hot shower. We arrived late in the evening and the staff of the hotel were friendly and welcoming and made sure we were able to eat in the restaurant before it closed. We were well rested for our return home the next morning.

We stayed there for a night so as to be close to the airport . The place is good, though a bit farther away from the airport than I expected. However, the courtesy shuttle buses are available.

Adequate "Airport" hotel

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Cons: could have skipped the bug spray smell.
Location: Very convenient to airport. Free shuttle.
The room was clean, altho it smelled of recent extermination. Wifi never worked. The room was large for Paris, provided tea, coffee, robes, decent amenities. For a stopover when you have a CDG flight it's good.

Decednt Decent hotel near airport

Posted Jun 30, 2014
The Golden Tulip was a clean, comfortable hotel with shuttle service to CDG Airport. The shuttle service was extremely crowded at 7:20 am as it is shared with other hotels in the area. There is a nice, reasonably priced restaurant down the street to the right for dinner.

The room we were given on the first floor was directly over the large restaurant which had a buffet which stayed open until 11 pm and opened again at 5am for breakfast. The floor/ceiling between was so thin? porous? that we could hear every time a chair was pushed back on the floor as a diner re-visited the buffet (once or twice a minute). Diners with loud voices were audible. The whole wing of that floor had this problem which was apparent from the corridor. This is not something you want when you would prefer a good night's sleep before an early take-off. We tried the food in the restaurant, dinner was reasonable (we did not take the buffet). We did try the breakfast buffet and given the price it was disappointing, hot food was cold and the nice looking peaches were like rocks when you tried to bite into them.
