Great hotel in the heart of Paris!Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: From this hotel we could walk all over central Paris.
Location: The Sorbonne and Pantheon are one block away and the Luxembourg Gardens were only three short block from the hotel.
The hotel is on the small size with 47 modern rooms. All the staff members were helpful and very friendly. I would recommend the Grand Hotel Saint Michel to anyone.

great but not quite as advertised!Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: It was a great place to stay with my 18 yr old - lots of young people around, can walk to many attractions and 3 metro lines close by.
Location: Pantheon, Notre Dame, St Chappelle, Luxemburg Gardens, St Germain, Pont des Arts, Rue de Mouffetard all close by. Sooo many cafes and brasseries!
Loved staying at this hotel- great location, clean, comfortable modern rooms, fantastic staff! No room service and no massages available in house, but so many things nearby. With so many petit dejeuner available 2 mins away, not sure why anyone would pay triple for the hotel breakfast.

Exceptional StaffPosted Jun 11, 2014
The hotel air conditioning was broken for 3 days... Our mini frige was broken and had to be replaced... My boyfriend and I both had a case of foot fungus develop from the shower. Room was small but comfortable and visually appealing. The hotel staff was exceptionally polite and tried their best to accommodate us with any issues or concerns.

Lovely hotel only a short walk from Notre DamePosted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Our room was a good size and had everything you could need, bed very comfortable, shower great, buffet breakfast had good choices, staff helpful
Location: Hotel located just off Blvd St. Michel, good shopping nearby & variety of restaurants,15 mins walk to Notre Dame where you can get city tour buses
Hotell was great, nicely decorated and staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries and organising taxis. Hotel in a great location for easy access to Notre Dame, shopping areas and lots of restaurants nearby. Paris lived up to expectations: visited Eiffel tower, Sacre Coure, Notre Dame, boat trip on Seine, Louvre but best of all was dinner and show at the Moulin Rouge, a lovely weekend break made easy by the excellent staff at our hotel. Would recommend this hotel if you are happy with medium size hotel, very clean, not too noisy area and lots of nice places to visit nearby.

Small boutique hotel!Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Very small (maybe 40 rooms) boutique hotel with central location.
Cons: The price is a little steep relative to other locations, but I think atmosphere and location offset this issue.
Location: Located between the Saint Michel and Luxembourg rail stations on the Blue/B line, easy access to many attractions.
Tremendous experience for 3 nights at the Grand Hotel Saint Michel. This property is located in the Latin Quarter being a 10 minute walk from Notre Dame and 2 minutes from the Luxembourg Gardens. We wanted to be in a nice, quiet area of Paris with easy access to major landmarks along with the subway system. Notre Dame was 10 minutes, Louvre was 25 minutes via walk, Musee D'Orsay was 25-30 minute walk and other destinations were a simply ride on the subway with just 1 transfer.

Nice hotel on left bankPosted Apr 21, 2014
Location: Left banf right off Blvd St Michel. Next to Sorbonne, close to many restaurants. Easy walk to Notre Dame, Louvre and Rue Rivoli.
Rooms small, but not unlike other European hotels. Hotel staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. Not too far off Blvd St Germaine with easy access to metro and local trains. Would recommend highly.
