A beautiful stay in Paris

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: It is centrally located and next to the St. Lazare Metro stop. Easy to get around the city. Great shopping and dinning near by. Close to the Louvre.
Cons: Chilled water in the Executive Lounge and personal size water bottles too.
Location: This hotel is close to the Opera Granier as well as Printemps and Gallerie Lafayette, both of which have roof top dinning and views of the city.
My partner and I stayed at the Hilton Paris Opera from May 6 through May 12. Prior to our arrival, I reached out to the Guest Relations Manager to ask for assistance in booking restaurant reservations which typically need to be made a month in advance and requested an early check-in among other things. He went out of his way to ensure the Concierge staff booked our reservations as well as had a room available for early check-in which was a blessing after along Trans-Atlantic flight. The Assistant Concierge was in constant communication with me after each reservation was booked and also suggested some attractions to visit as this was not our first visit to Paris. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly by the front desk staff and she took care of our check-in promptly and efficiently. She also walked us to the Executive Lounge, which is available to HHonors members, to show us where it was located. A very nice personal touch. The Bellmen were always happy to get us a taxi and also provide any clarification of a question I may have had. Although the hotel is still under renovation, I never noticed it, until I was outside. This is a beautiful hotel that is being revitalized into the Hilton look and feel without losing the charm. I have stayed in many Hilton and Conrad’s and I have to say, I was completely impressed, treated with the utmost respect and would be honoured to return.

Renovierungsbedürftig

Posted Apr 6, 2015

Beautiful Paris Hotel

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Staff was wonderful. Room was beautiful. Excellent stay.
Cons: The hotel will only get better as the street construction is completed outside. The noise did not bother us at all on the 3rd floor.
Location: Great location is literally next door to subway station. We took direct trains to within 5 mins walk to The Louvre, Notre Dame, Allards and more.
Staff was wonderful, hotel was stunning. Concierge made reservations, gave directions, could not have been more helpful. Our first time in Paris, we speak no french. They made us feel really special.

Great location & great service

Posted Mar 21, 2015
This hotel is fantastic, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast & right in the heart of Paris. Only downside is they're doing some renovation & digging up the street outside, so have to walk around that outdoors. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Short break in Paris

Posted Mar 11, 2015
My wife and I celebrated her birthday spending three nights at the opulent Hilton Opera hotel. The stay was wonderful. Our recently refurbished room had all we could wish for and our only criticism would be that space was a bit tight. The staff were very helpful and courteous. There was only one slight misunderstanding on our last morning when we were awoken early with an unsolicited call advising that there was a taxi awaiting. We had asked for a call but not quite so early! I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel as it was a perfect location for al, the marvellous sights that the city has to offer

Hotel - some rooms need refurbishing

Posted Feb 28, 2015 on Hotels
Older hotel with a stunning ground floor salon but hotel rooms are being renovated and noisy from 8 am onwards. Some floors 1-3 have been refurbished but I was not offered one of those rooms even as a Hilton honors member.

Hotel full of Ninjas and Wizards...

Posted Feb 20, 2015 on Hotels
Don't be too shy about jumping right into a reservation for a room here. It's true the hotel is undergoing renovations, but our family was never inconvenienced by noises or equipment or construction personnel. I think it's a hotel full of wizards and ninjas because I'm not sure how construction could successfully be hidden from sight and sound. Beyond the 3rd floor, up the beautiful staircase, we observed a large sheet up over the staircase and heard some hammers in the middle of the day, but that is the extent of it. Breakfast was fabulous and so convenient. Cheese and fruits and vegetables and delicious coffee...what more could you ask for? Oh, pastries? They had those, too. Every single employee we had contact with at the hotel was so professional yet warm and always very helpful. They always seemed to be one step ahead of us on our needs (delivering the rollaway bed, bringing our luggage to the room, maid service, room service delivery, etc.). The concierge and reception staff are multilingual which was helpful (I know a bit of French, but getting directions to a site...priceless). After very long days of walking and sightseeing, we were so thankful to come back to an extremely clean room (complete with heated marble floors in the bathroom, thank you very much). When we return to Paris, we will absolutely stay here again.

Under Construction

no one told us that the hotel is going through construction phase and there are scaffolding all around and the builders can look into your room plus construction noise early in the morning
