Perfect location, clean and pleasant stayPosted Jan 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a newly renovated Hotel. Staff on duty at 8am when we arrived were pleasant and had us in our room by 10am after guests began checking out well before regular check I at 3pm. Short walk to champs and arch de Triomphe end or same distance walk to grand Palais down another street. Would recommend it for next stay. Small room, but staff, and facilities made up for it easily. Wonderful breakfast buffet and endless coffee. Friendly!

Three night in ParisPosted Jan 2, 2013
We had two very comfortable rooms , which made our four day stay in Paris very livable with our two teenage kids. The hotel is very central located, easy walk to many galleries. We did however do B'fast out as Paris have many fun places to capture daily life in Paris.

Tiny room even for a European room.Posted Nov 26, 2012
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful
Cons: Size of the room.
Location: Location was not great, but not terrible. Not much around this area and restaurants were closed on nights and weekends.
We have stayed at many hotels in Europe for the last 6 months of travelling and this one was unfortunately the smallest room yet. There wasnt room to even put our luggage down without forcing the door open every time we entered and crawling over it when we left. Walls were paper thin and a lot of noise outside made this a trip to forget.

Short break in ParisPosted Aug 28, 2012
Pros: Location - fairly convenient for St. Honore, Champs d'Elysee etc.
Cons: Side street and not many taxis pass by so you may need to order with a surcharge.
Location: Good location for main shopping areas in Paris.
Hotel is convenient but you have to walk a few streets to pick up a taxi otherwise the hotel can arrange and the taxi will impose a surcharge. Staff friendly and helpful and although our room on the 4th floor was pleasant and quiet, it had a strange smell as if there was a water leak. Given we were only there for 2 nights, we did not want to pack and unpack and move rooms; if the window was left open and the air conditioning was on, the smell would disappear. Bathroom decor was avant garde and the door was sliding which did not fit cleanly leaving gaps around the edge. These two items caused me to mark the overall score down which would otherwise have been a 4.

Paris family weekend breakPosted Aug 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
Holiday Inn Élysées ticked all the boxes. We stayed for just one night but the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Hotel is modern and well presented - we had a family suite which provided more than enough space, only criticism was the wireless internet was not working on the weekend we visited, the lift is very slow and they didnt have ice at the bar (36 degrees celcius weather). The hotel is less than one minute walk from Miromensil Metro (station itself not the nicest, but this is Paris). A ten minute walk from hotel to Champs Élysées - easier talk a short walk up to Rue de Haussmann and take 1 of 2 buses, which is easier for families with young kids. During July/August most of the nearby shops/cafes etc are closed, so would recommend heading down to Trocadero (Metro or 22 Bus) as less pricey than Champs Élysées braisseries/restaurants, and avoiding minibar charges by getting drinks in the convenience shop across the road. Taxi cabs from Champs Élysées and Tour de Eifell are between €15 - €20. The taxis at Gare Du Nord are a rip off so beware, they tried to charge us €95 to get the hotel so we took the Metro. Going back the hotel ordered us one at a cost of €20 for a party of 4 adults + 2 children. Would stay there again happily :-)
