Business traveller disappointment

Pros: Location only.
Cons: Needs to be completely refurbished.The lobby has been refurbished so you are deceived into thinking the rooms are comparable, but they are not.
Location: It's location in St. Germain des Pres is great, close to museums, restaurants and shopping, good transport links as well.
Hotel is in a good location but rooms are terrible. They haven't been renovated in a while so the carpets appear old, the decor dated and overall feel is of a 1 star hotel. Grossly overpriced.

As expected - fine for short stay.

Pros: Good though compact bathroom with overhead and hand-held shower. Tea & coffee making facilities in room.
Good location with several nice cafes and Le Bon Marche within walking distance. We walked to the Seine from the hotel in about 25 minutes a couple of times but Metro stop about 5 minutes from hotel. Good basis for our visits to Orsay and Rodin. Hotel room very small with view of flat roof.

Nice hotel in a good location

Pros: It can be very warm in Paris during summer so it was important to us to have AC > this worked pretty well. We had an executive room > could be better
Cons: Breakfast
Personnel at the front desk were very helpful. The personnel in the restaurant/breakfast were not as pleasing and did not fill empty trays etc. They need improvement.

A perfect city hotel

Location is best thing about this hotel. 3 metro lines within 5 mins walk from the hotel and you can practically cover entire Paris with those lines. All attractions are nearby as well. Hotel rooms are good and clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent.

Nice hotel hotel, good location.

Not a four star hotel. Internet while free was really bad. So bad we couldn't use our voice over IP solution to call home. This caused us some significant extra costs.

Fantastic, clean and modern hotel close to metro

Cons: Ice dispenser
Location: Very close to metro station for easy access to all areas. Recommend Saint Michael area only a few stations on the metro 4 line.
Hotel staff were fantastic. It was our anniversary and they upgraded us and arranged for flowers in the room. Emailed the hotel several times before we left and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, quiet hallways, comfortable beds, and amazing location. Very close to two metro lines, fantastic cafes and patisseries. Came here on a recomendation from my Aunt, who has stayed here multiple times for business. My husband and I stayed for leisure, and had a fantastic stay. We would definitely return to this hotel again.

Holiday Inn

This hotel was not as great as I expected it to be. The hotel is clean and the staff there are nice. The problems that we faced were the wifi was horrible and it was extremely slow. They do not believe in AC there and expect us to open the windows, so we could get fresh air. If we did turn on the AC at night, it would blow out hot air instead. Then the noise level was ridiculous, which is why we hated opening the windows. We just couldn't sleep well because it was so loud outside. I personally would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms were relatively small and bathrooms not made to give privacy when there are more than 1 person in the room.
Location: good restaurants and good access to fruit stand, dessert shop and metro stations.
Friendlier than most Parisiens. Good location - close to 2 Metro stations.
