Nice hotel smack in the middle of the MaraisPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Its location.
Cons: Replace hand-held shower hose with a shower head.
Location: The Marais is a wonderful area. Great restaurants and shops.
The staff couldn't do enough for us. Friendly and very receptive to all of our needs. Room was small, but very comfortable and quiet.

What a great place in le Marais!Posted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Excellent, professional staff. It was the cleanest and neatest place I've ever stayed in Paris!
We picked this hotel for its location in the Marais and its proximity to the metro and to the principal sites in Paris. This was my wife's first trip to Paris, and I'm delighted that Hostellerie du Marais helped make it a truly memorable experience! The hotel staff was superb - always helpful, friendly and professional. Although the elevator was large enought for either 1) two people, or 2) one person and a suitcase, that is typical of small boutique Paris hotels, and we were neither surprised nor inconvenienced by that. Rue de Turnenne was a great street, with lots of boutiques and a couple of excellent cafe/braserries which we frequented often. There is also a post office only a couple of blocks away. My wife was amazed that we could walk to the Hotel de Ville, and the islands in less than 20 minutes. So this is a perfect place, cozy and romantic, and we'll stay here every time we are able to come to Paris! Thanks so much to all the staff for our great experience! Boyd Faust

Perfect location, highly recommend !Posted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
First time visiting Paris and travelling alone, Hostellerie Du Marais is located in a great 'safe' location of Le Marais. I found the staff were very helpful and once you get to know them are extremely friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, shower was a little small but no big deal. Hotel is close to all the major landmarks, museums, restaurants, cafés, metro and great shopping! Oh, i was told by one of the staff members that the interior/decor was designed by Christian Lacroix! Loved my stay and highly recommend.

Location of Hostellerie du Marais was perfect, hotel itself is charming, with amazing old walls. Rooms were small, but clean, in good condition and quiet. The one thing that let it down was the mattress it was clearly quite old and needed replacing, otherwise excellent.

Great location, but beware rooms are small.Posted Aug 17, 2013
Location: In Marais very near Place des Vosges. Convenient for several metro lines.
An interesting old building. Very helpful staff. The "bar" is "self-service" and very quiet. Room was nicely decorated but getting a little tired. Location couldn't be better, though.
