Straightforward, well-located good value hotel.Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, value/price ratio.
Cons: A public use computer is available, but costs €1 for 15 minutes. Free use is now so common that it seems a little mean to make any charge at all.
Location: Very central to a large range of attractions.
The title says all. I did not have breakfast because there are small cafes nearby where you can get a croissant and a coffee for one third the price of the hotel breakfast. Although my room was on the first floor and overlooked the street, there was no disturbance from traffic noise.

Great location for Paris marathonPosted Apr 8, 2014
Small room, although a double, you wouldn't want to try to fit two. No minibar.

Excellent hotel in a great locationPosted Mar 22, 2014
We stayed in Hotel Alison over a long weekend after a friend's recommendation and did not regret it. The location is suberb with easy access to many of the beautiful sites of Paris. We could walk almost everywhere and that made our stay even more enjoyable. We like the retro style of the hotel, the room was not massive but cosy and the staff very helpful. We stayed over the weekend so it was very quiet, the school across can make it a bit noisy in the week. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a a good value hotel in central Paris.

Nice hotel, in a great location.Posted Feb 19, 2014
The hotel is in a great location, you can grab the metro or walk to many of the main tourist sites. Our room for three people (a double bed and a single bed) was a little dated, but was clean and the location couldn't be beat. Overall I would recommend based on location and friendly staff.

Nice hotel close to major attractions in ParisPosted Feb 1, 2014
Friendly staff, nice hotel, walking distance to all major attractions in Paris. We arrived early at 10 am and they gave us the room by 11 am (early check in)... booked through Expedia, value for money...

Nice Central HotelPosted Jan 14, 2014
Pros: location, location, location
Cons: friendlier front desk
Location: shopping, bistros, tourist attractions, subway
Stayed at Hotel Alison for 3 nights. Small boutique hotel. It was in a very good location, 5 min walk from the Madeleine train station. It is in a swanky part of Paris so lots of high end shops and restaurants in the immediate area. 10 min walk from Champ Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, 30 min or less walking to Louvre, Catacombs, Eiffel, etc. Didn't try the breakfast, it was 11 euros p/p. We opted to eat at the many bistros/cafes lined along the streets. Fridge in room and elevator which were nice. Hotel staff was helpful but could use a refresher course on friendliness and smiling. Please also note that the bill is taken care of at the hotel and not through Expedia. We knew this going in but it may help others who don't read the fine print and assume it is already paid for. All in all, a good stay.

Pros: Location!! the hotel is ok, not extraordinary but great for the price! We chose this hotel because of the location and we were happy we did it.
Location: We never took the metro or bus, it is in the center of the city and we walked everywhere (museums, Champs Elysee, etc)

Great Location, good value.Posted Jan 5, 2014
The shower head is on a side wall which makes it awkward to begin with, but it wouldn't stay where you put it. You either over flowed the bathroom with water on the floor or you had to hold it to spray off. The room itself was small, but fairly comfortable. It was in a great location which made it easy to get anywhere you wanted, most of it within walking distance. If you don't like to walk far, the metro was also close by.

Pros: The Location.
Location: Awesome location, very safe ( by the British Embassy ) very close to La Madeleine, Louvre, Concorde & Champs Elysees. very close to Taxi and Metro.
Location was good, we had everything within walking distance. Recommend as well visiting Mon Martre and the Latin Neighborhood.
