Nice hotel, centrally located

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Centrally located, quiet area, clean room.
Cons: Wifi could be better.
Location: Very close to everything, walking distance to major streets and sights.
Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Family of 3, visiting Paris for sightseeing and vacation. Had a nice stay, room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but the Wifi did not work consistently. Worked on and off for a the duration of our stay. All hotels in Paris are pricey, and this one was too, but it was located in a nice, quiet area. Surrounded by embassies and government buildings, it did not have too much going on after business hours. Overall, not a bad stay.

Disappointing Experience

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing. Locations is good but the Hotel does not make up for this.
Cons: Everything! What was advertised on Expedia about this Hotel is not what I got.
Location: The Hotel was so bad that the location does not make up for it. Keep away.
The staff was unhelpful and rude and could speak very little English. The advertised free wifi did not work for two of the three days we stayed there with no apologies or assistance from the staff. The Triple Superior Room I booked ended up being a small room in the courtyard of the Hotel with a double bed and a bunker bed squeezed into a small room with no windows. The furniture in the room is old, but not in an antique sense of the word. There are no coffee or tea in the rooms and comes at an extra charge. This hotel felt more like a back packers establishment than a Hotel.

Nice Hotel, great location !

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Location, staff .
Cons: Have had trouble with WiFi there not working in certain rooms and having to go down to lobby to get a signal.
Location: It is located near La Madeline church. Also within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Place de Concorde, Rue de Rivoli, Champs Eylesee. Many more !
Nice Hotel, pleasant helpful staff. Location is excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fresh, continental. Very safe area I was there alone and felt comfortable at all times in the area. Have been there 3 times now and will return.

Short walk to Madeleine station

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Location: Short walk to Champs d'Elysees. Shops all around.
Nice small hotel. Clean, but exceptionally small room. Good for a single person like me, but would be cramped for two people used to an american sized standard room

Newly remodeled hotel

Posted May 28, 2014
Very nice hotel in safe, chic neighborhood close to metro and within walking distance to Champs de Elysee. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was an extra $12.00 euro per day. Loved the crossaints! I have already recommended this hotel to a friend.

Very nice hotel and central location

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Decor, staff, Cleanliness and location.
Cons: Nothing to suggest. Very good hotel.
Location: Champs Elysees is next door. Madeline station is right near the hotel. Walking distance from main shopping district including Printemps and Lafayette.
I stayed with my family for 4 nights. Very nice hotel with very clean interiors and decor. Right next to Champs Elysees and Madeline sub station. Everything very close. Very courteous staff. Our stay was very pleasant and delightful. Will any day recommend and will stay again if I go to Paris. Wifi was little flaky but that could be due to rains.

Hotel Alison

Posted May 12, 2014
Cons: Offer more pillows in the closet. Offer shampoo and conditioner in bathroom.
On this trip, I introduced Paris to my 17 and 21 year old sons for the first time. A mother and 2 older sons sharing a small Parisian hotel room could make or break a trip. We were in a triple room - room 301. While the room was not large, the beds were very comfortable and the design of the room allowed for a bit of changing privacy. You may want to ask for more pillows, as we found them too thin. Hotel Alison is small hotel on a quiet street in a most ideal location. We were able to walk just about everywhere, but at the end of the day it was just as easy to catch the Metro back to the Madeleine Station which was 2 streets away. I would consider staying here again if a room with a street view was available .

Close to many sites

Posted May 8, 2014
Pros: Location and room size
Cons: Continental breakfast a little pricey -better to go to pastry shop or bagel shop .
Location: all sites easily accessible by cab for 8 to 12 Euros - we found cabs so cheap that we didn't use metro
Very nice hotel, clean friendly staff. Handy to bagel store , grocery store , cafes etc.
