Great Location..Some rooms are not air conditioned

Posted Jun 27, 2014
The hotel's location is great (2 minute walk from champs élysées and walking distance from the cafes overlooking the Seine and Eiffel Tower from avenue Marceau) but anyone going should take care that they have some air conditioned rooms and others not..If it is important to you,as it is to us,you have to state that before your arrival so that you don't get stuck with a stuffy room ...

Nice Hotel in a good location

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Comfort. Location. Cleanliness.
Cons: Decor (being improved later this year)
Location: Champs-Elysees right next to the hotel. Louvre, Grand/Petit Palace, Arc de Triomphe. Close to Metro station.
A very pleasant and comfortable hotel in great location. Situated just behind the Hugo Boss shop and a stones throw from all the bars, restaurant and shops in the Champs-Elysees. According to staff, the hotel is being renovated later this year. Once complete there would be nothing to fault.

Great location

The hotel needs many improvements. The wood to our wardrobe door was disintegrating and am surprised still held the hinges. We asked for an iron and ironing board to be sent up to our room. The iron was black and they did not have a cover for the board, therefore we opted for hotel laundry service.Hotel staff were friendly and honest about questions asked regarding shows and tours.

It's not wifi...

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Very old-school. Nice interior
Cons: See wifi comments above. Not at all possible to be a business traveler at this hotel
Location: 1 street from Champs-Elysee, 5min walk from Arc de Triomphe
The hotel itself was fine (breakfast overpriced by a long-shot), but still fine. I specifically rang before arriving about the wifi because I needed to do two long nights' worth of work. The receptionist assured me that the wifi was working and fast. When I arrived, I soon discovered that mail was downloaded from a fibre-optic server on the office end at 9kb/s on the hotel end. It seems that their idea of fast free wifi throughout the hotel is ten 3G cellular data modems meant for personal use spread throughout the hotel. While SFR is a good network, the entire hotel trying to connect to the three of them that work was painful. The reception really didn't want to be bothered about it. While I get it was free, just say what it is. In the end, it was impossible to even bring up Google... Eleven minutes to bring up Google News... Would have been cheaper to get real wifi on their part than to buy ten 3G modems along with contracts...

Excellent location and service

One of the best locations in Paris at the doorstep of the Champs Elysees. The room was large and very confortable; breakfast selection excellent and most important of all, the staff were extremely accomodating. Especially Montacer and Bruno at the front desk that went out of their way to make sure my stay was a good one. And it was......

Pros: I like the hotel and every body working for the hotel is very helpful.
Cons: If you improve the toilet clearing , I will stay in this hotel next time.
Location: To go tour bus and shopping is good.
I like the hotel, every thing is fine but the clearing of the toilet need to be done. Otherwise every thing is good and the position is good.

Perfect location, bad aircondition system

Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Aircondition, elimination of unfitted employees.
Stayed with 4 of my family for 3 nights in 2 rooms. One room had a very bad aircondition where u cannot control the temperature. The staff on duty on the 2nd August was a black male who was rude and unhelpfull at all. He simply stated that "this my hotel and we can do nothing about the aircondition" when i mentioned that the other room i had did have good aircondition, his response was that some rooms have good A/C and some dont. The rest of the staff are wonderful and deserve full mark on kindness and hospitality.
