Little gem in the heart of NimesPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: We liked the warm aesthetic, helpful staff and the breakfast.
Cons: It is probably due for some minor cosmetic upgrades to make the room/ bathroom look a little less tired.
Location: Excellent location - far enough from crowds but very close to all the sights - perfect!
This is an excellent hotel for price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very cozy and large for hotels in Europe. Breakfast was reasonably priced and there was a good variety of things to eat. The hotel is a little older and not overly "polished" but that is the charm. I will return there next time.

Not the Ritz, but appreciated for the valuePosted Jul 12, 2014
Everything worked, but rooms are very small and lack aesthetic appeal. Functional and clean. Staff was excellent and willing to assist. I'd go back.

Simple hotel for accessing all of ParisPosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
I would recommend this hotel for visiting Paris subject to a few conditions as I will discuss below. Pros: low price, excellent access to metro and the montparnasse train station through the metro, breakfast, and helpful employees. Cons: small room. We took a taxi to the hotel from de Gaulle airport and the price was 55euros even with a slight traffic jam. The room is small. If you are travelling alone, it is perfect. As a couple we were a bit cramped. If you are a large person, >6' you may find it to be too small. The bathroom in the room is very small - tight space for your girlfriend/wife who wants to do her hair. We used the metro all the time, which is a couple minute walk down the street. Took only 15 minutes to get to the train station by metro. The area is nice and safe. The area is quiet. The room had an ac and that worked fine. I would stay here again alone or with my wife.

good location, uncomfortable bedsPosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was friendly. great location just a minute from metro stop. There is a bnp Paribas atm across from the metro (if you have BOA withdrawals are free there). Lots of restaurant options, from sit down and authentic to McDonalds and subway. There are bars and a bakery all within 2-5 minutes walking. Hotel and rooms are small per usual in Europe but clean and bathroom was spacious. The bed was horribly uncomfortable as you could feel the springs and make sure you book a shower room, not a bathtub. Our bathtub had a retractable shower head but no hook to hold it up. It was uncomfortable to shower and the whole bathroom was soaked because there is no curtain or door.

Wonderful NeighborhoodPosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that the owner has a cat and it sits on all the furniture of the first floor. However, the cat does not go to any of the other floors where the rooms are.

Close to the MetroPosted Aug 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
Free Internet only works on the lobby. We stayed on the 3rd Floor and did not get any connectivity. Peter (customer service) is really helpful and gave us all the inside scoops in the area and direct us to right places to go.
