“Cute, friendly, and centrally located.”

This is a great little Paris hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and multilingual. The location is awesome: walking distance to a lot of attractions (Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay and others) but is also a block from the subway which is clean, bright, safe, and easy to use. The rooms are small, but extremely clean and although a little of the wall paper is peeling, it ends up being just right in the end. Who goes to Paris to stay in a hotel room after all???

“Great Location, Comfortable Hotel”

Although our room was on the street and noisy on holiday week ends (11 holidays!!! this May, we were told), we loved the hotel, its helpful staff, its variety of current newspapers and magazines, its convenient location (between Republique and Bastille) for walking everywhere, and the friendly neighborhood with lots of people in cafes and action on the streets. It served us well.

Hotel room was very small, but that's to be expected in Europe. It was very clean and was cleaned daily. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The hotel is not in the main areas where the sites are, but not a far train ride from anything (2-10 minutes).

“Hotel Bastille - great service, location, price”

This small hotel is ideally situated - 5 minute walk from Marais neighborhood and two subway lines...convenient to get to CDG with only one change...room was lovely, old-style Paris which has been modernized to be more comfortable. A lovely refuge from the bustling city!!

“Great location, nice staff, small rooms”

I would stay here again. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are older and a bit worn, but spotlessly clean. They're also quite small, but that's to be expected. The staff is very helpful and speak English. The location can't be beat. Breakfast isn't great, but it's convenient and a nice to have, particularly when you're still adjusting to the time change. It's only about six blocks to the heart of the Marais and a stone's throw from the Bastille Metro. All in all, a nice little place to stay. The street noise could possibly be an issue in the summer, but since we were there in December it was very quiet and warm with the windows closed. Recommended.

“Good hotel for a short visit.”

The hotel staff was very friendly. Impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bed. Good breakfast, great neighborhood. Free access to WIFI. My room was very calm.The only reservation is that the room (single) was extremely small. Good value for a short visit in Paris. Take the shuttle to the airport, it's very convenient and much cheaper than the taxi. Driver was very friendly. It picks you up at the hotel.
