Hotel Bergere Opera

really helpful and friendly staff that speak multiple languages. clean room, comfortable bed. great location in (long) walking distance of all major sites in the city. really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was located near by the metro station, restaurants and cafeterias. Neighborhood was OK. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't worth of the money. But overall experience was great.

The only redeeming qualities of the hotel are its proximity to the Opera and nearby sights and its relatively affordable price. Beyond that, Americans will be disappointed at the size of the rooms and the poor bathrooms. The front desk couldn't have been less helpful with questions about where to get an umbrella in the pouring rain, getting a taxi, or restaurant suggestions. Find somewhere else to stay!

The location is excellent, and the hotel is nice. The building is old (as many are in Paris). Pros: Location is great, staff is very helpful (I am only fluent in English). Cons: My shower head holder was broken, the elevator broke 3 days / 5 days, internet was close to worthless for anything beyond very slow web page loading. Overall, for a business traveler with significant Internet needs, I would say look elsewhere. If you don't need a good connection, the location and price are both excellent

Great Staff. Very friendly. The rooms are were small which was to be expected. We visited in the Winter so it was cold out. The weather stripping on the windows was not very good and the heater was a radiator. There was no way to control heat to warm the room up.

Great location. Staff very helpful, price is correct for the quality of the room. Go for it.
