Clean, comfy, convenient.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: The staff, cleanliness, location.
Cons: An iron/board available. Not clear when restaurant or lounge were open.
I spent the night here before visiting Versailles. Very modern and clean. The room was basic, but I wasn't looking for much more than a bed and a bathroom. No iron/board provided (just a heads-up). Hair dryer, coffee maker provided. Bar/lounge off lobby and restaurant/buffet in same building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location convenient to ATM, Monoprix, smaller grocers, bakeries, and the 171 bus just across the street will get you to Versailles palace in about 15 minutes. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel good pricePosted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not much to say. Good bargain but outside of Paris. Close to Versailles but the were closed on Monday. Stayed one night. Great front desk service. Breakfast was over but they serviced me some coffee and rolls anyway after 10 am.

Great hotel and value.Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent hotel and service. Short tram ride to Versailles, but it takes about 40 min by tram AND metro to get to Paris centre, but is easy to do. Excellent parking.

Cheap, but insufficiently cleanedPosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
There was remnants of the previous visitors on the room floor (such as pill packets and other wrappings), indiicating insufficient cleaning/vacuuming.

We did not realize that hotel is far away from main train station. You have to request front desk staff if you need Taxi and it takes about 20- 30 minutes to get a taxi. You can get there via metro and bus if you do not have much luggage to carry, which can be quicker and cheaper. There is not much to see around. Hotel staff are very nice, easy to communicate and willing to help. Hotel and rooms are clean. Do not eat in hotel restaurant. It is expensive and not much varieties available. There are small coffee shops and small market , very closed to hotel. Overall reasonable for the prize.

Campanile Paris OuestPosted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was out of the metro range, but we knew this when booking and booked as the price was reasonable. There is a bus stop outside which is about a 20 min ride to the nearest metro. If you get an all day metro ticket you can you it on the bus too. Nice quiet sleep, set back from the road. Good size room and bathroom. Parking underground was a reasonable price and secure. The only downside on this stay was that the room had a strong smell of tobacco. When my partner told reception, he shouted back at her that "You're NOT supposed to smoke in the room!" They did not do anything to sort this out.

Rude staff (even for Paris) and cramped rooms :-(Posted Aug 27, 2012
Pros: Nothing positive to say
Cons: The staff - a new low in Parisien surliness
Location: OK with 15 minute bus ride to Metro
The family rooms are way too small even before you bring the 4th bed out. You even have to climb over one of the normal beds to draw curtains. The real killer to me though is the awful attitude of the staff. I know it's Paris and one expects a degree of surliness but these guys set a new low. I will definitely not go to this hotel again and will try my hardest to avoid Camponile as a direct result.

Nice area out of Paris at good price.Posted Aug 6, 2012
Pros: Excelent price for what you get.
Cons: Room cleanning. Three nights in the room and they didn't replace the bed sheets end not even cleaned the beds.
Location: It's far from Paris downtown but is located within a nice area.
For the price I paid room cleanning is the only item that disapointed. The rest was good. Good restaurant, good area of Paris and the best is the store nearby where you can buy a fresh french bread for a nice breakfast in the room.

Great hotel for a familyPosted Jul 29, 2012
Great quadruple room, friendly service and very helpful staff. Breakfast was disappointing - no fresh coffee and the vending machine was terribly slow leading to long queues, and all the tables needed cleaning at 7am. We had breakfast elsewhere for our second morning.
