Nice hotel off the beaten track.Posted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Great access to transportation and sights.
Location: It was near a great market, we were surrounded by cafés, wine shops and restaurants.
This was a nice hotel off the beaten path, it took us about half an hour to get there from the airport. It was a very quick easy check in process. The staff was friendly and efficient, and helpful. They spoke English, which was extremely helpful. It was tucked into a rather obscure street, but was half a block from a bus stop and two blocks from a metro stop. Just blocks away was a bakery, plenty of cafés and a charming street market. The downside was the tiny room. It was big enough to fit two suitcases but just barely. My sister noticed the walls could be cleaned. But the bathroom was immaculate with great water pressure.

A wonderful hotel with a true Parisian feel.Posted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Everything: location, front desk service, the bed and linens, the beautifully remodeled bath, the charming neighborhood, and five minutes to metro.
Cons: I was completely satisfied.
Location: Wonderful location, charming old Parisian neighborhood. Lots of cafes, pastery shops, a fresh market up one whole street with everything, Perfect!!!
We stayed for 8 days and would return to this same hotel again. It is in a wonderful location. You are located in the 5th district on a quiet street only minutes from the metro. The hotel room was nice, the bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens, and the room had a totally remodeled and upscale bathroom. There was also enough storage in the room. We loved the fact that within just a couple of blocks you could find several local wine shops, several pastry shops (where we got breakfast each morning and then walked across the street by the fountain and ate on a bench beside a beautiful old church. There was a fine upscale restaurante three doors down from the hotel, also a number of cafe', fresh markets and everything that makes a local french neighborhood. The people at the front desk were always helpful and there was someone there 24 hours a day. We caught the metro each day and were able to get anywhere in Paris that we wanted to go in a very short time. All the people working in the hotel, shops, and markets went out of there way to be helpful, and we did not speak French. We could not have asked for a better experience.

BasicPosted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Price & cleanliness
Cons: Attitude of daytime front desk staff. More comfortable beds.
Location: Didn't spend much time in area, but it was ok. Would have preferred other neighborhoods, but didn't want to spend more money. .
Not a welcoming feeling. Although room was clean, the beds were uncomfortable.

Nice Hotel, Great LocationPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for a week in August and really enjoyed my visit. The room was a good size for Paris, the bed was comfortable, and most of all the location is grand. You can walk to Rue Mouffetard which is why I landed on this one. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance which saves you from fighting for a cab or racing to get back before the metro closes. I would stay there again if I go back if it's just me staying. If it were a romantic visit to Paris I would probably stay somewhere else. All in all the price is great, the location is great, the service was nice but it's just a regular hotel.

Charming hotel in the Latin Quarter.Posted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Clean, quiet, well priced. Easy to navigate Paris with two metro stations nearby. Alexandre, the receptionist is fluent in English and very friendly
Cons: I would suggest to find a way to keep windows open in the room and the bathroom. Dining area is pleasant and Parisian breakfast simple.
Location: Well located. You can walk to Le Seine, Luxembourg park, Pantheon, Notre Dame, even the Louvre.
My daughter and I spent seven days in Paris and we were able to visit all areas we had an interest on Parks, Museums, Art Centers, and shopping centers. We did some serious walking to the Seine river. The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter, near the goblins station. Coming back from the airport you take the RER B all the way to Port Royal Station and you can walk on Port Royal Blvd all the way to Rue Pascal is about 15 min. The first thing I liked was the access to the Hotel thru a pedestrian walkway coming down. Rue Pascal is a very quiet street and has plenty of nearby cafes, bistros and markets. The rooms are small for US standards, but well color coordinated. We did not mind the size at all, as after all this is the way you live in France. The window is very large and you can open to let some fresh air, specially if you don't want to use the fan in a hot summer night.

Not terrible. Just disappointing.Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Bathroom, location
Cons: Stop advertising non-existent air conditioning. Offer help w/ luggage if the lift is broken. Offer free breakfast.
Location: Good location. Quiet street. Near Daubenton Metro. Lots of nice cafes and bakeries close by.
We thought we were upgrading to a better hotel (3 Star), since the ratings were outstanding, and the hotel advertised air conditioning and an elevator. We quickly learned that there was no air conditioning and the elevator was broken. The room itself was tiny, which I have learned is typical of Paris hotels. However this room was really Really TINY. We had to climb over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other. The closet was miniscule. The closet door was broken. The staff member on duty at check in gave us a fan to use, since it was hot and August. The room was on the 3rd floor, and there were no screens on the windows. We dealt with that. On a positive note: the location was convenient to the Metro and a nice walk to the Pantheon, Rue Mouffetard, and Luxembourg Gardens. The bathroom was first rate. I feel we could have booked a less expensive room and gotten the same amenities, but who cares? We were in Paris and the city is utterly amazing.

Perfect friendly hotel for business or pleasure.Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, decent sized room, excellent location.
Cons: Air conditioning did not cool the room. Elevator had broken down.
Location: Excellent. At the bottom end of Rue Mouffetard, with endless supply of character-filled shops, cafes, restaurants.
Great little hotel. The staff on reception were, without exception, all extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was surprisingly roomy for Paris and was kept perfectly clean. The location was lovely, 5 minute walk to Les Gobelins, and right at the foot of Rue Mouffetard. This stay was a weekend break, but I stay in Paris on business a fair bit in much more expensive hotels and I much prefer this charming little hotel. My only gripes were the absence of a bath (but the excellent shower was very roomy) and the fact that the aircon did not cool the room (but the pedestal fan they provided was OK), Also the elevator broke down and was out of order all weekend, but these things do happen! However I can happily overlook such minor problems when everything else was so good. Highly recommended.
