Godt hotel i latinerkvarteret

Posted Dec 2, 2014

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: personale cortese, pulizia, collocazione geografica

Okay hotel okay location

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: English was spoken at the reception desk the room was big.
Cons: A coffee maker and refrigerator in the rooms.
Location: Three metro stations nearby. It seemed like a safe neighborhood
We booked this hotel last minute because the hotel we had booked a couple months before cancelled our reservation and we we not aware until our check in date. So this is what was available within our budget and near the center of Paris. It is in a safe neighborhood, the carpet was very old and dirty but our bathroom and sheets were very clean. The room was very big compared to other pictures of hotel rooms in paris I had seen. The only thing was that the bathtub very high (tall) about 2.5 feet and it could be dangerous getting in and out. The is also a pub across the street right in front of our room 210 that was very noisy and open till late at night but we were so tired we didn't really care but it might be a problem for someone with very light sleep. There were 3 metro stations nearby 1 was a 5 minute walk the other 2 about a 10 minute walk. It did not have a coffee maker or a mini fridge. And breakfast was not included. The wifi was included and it was pretty good.So overall it was just okay

Very Good Staff and Location, Disappointing Room

Posted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: The breakfast area is handsomely laid out, the food was simple but fresh and good, and the breakfast staff were professional, pleasant, and a delight.
Cons: My room may have been atypical, but its carpet showed severe burns (in central position, between bed and desk) and had a drab decor.
Location: Location is superb -- the walk up Goblins to Rue Monge, Rue des Ecoles, and on to Rue Jacques and Notre Dame is full of charm.
This is a small hotel in a lovely Paris neighborhood, two kilometers south of old Paris, near where Gobelins and Port Royal Avenues intersect. The staff is very professional (top of the list: the woman who cheerfully managed the breakfast dining area, which is one of the hotel's highlights), the rooms are cleaned well each day, and the breakfast is modest, but well laid out and pleasantly ample. However, although my room was very capably cleaned each day, the room itself -- for which I paid somewhat more than I typically pay in Paris (to which I travel once or twice per year) -- had worn furniture, (large) burn stains on the carpet, and a dis-spiriting decor. It may simply be that I was given a room that was atypically damaged, but on this basis I would hesitate to recommend this hotel for the price.

cosy but comfortable

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: good, clean, value for money
Location: equidistant between 2 metro stations but only took 5mins walk to either. Fantastic 'local market' street nearby- real France.
one week's stay- room cosy but clean, comfortable with nice shower-room and air con. Staff very helpful and friendly. Just off main streets but still felt safe to walk. Handy for metro stations. Cute bar across the road with friendly staff.

Feines, kleines Hotel in guter Lage

Posted Sep 23, 2014
