“good hotel with terrible Services”
We stayed 2 nights. There was no soap,no shampoo&no lotion when we came in:I had to go to reception to get some. The 2nd day there was no toilet paper left.My partner had to go again to reception to get a roll. The closet is minuscule. There is no bag for laundry. We will never go back. The absence of Services has to be a Management request, for microscopic savings...
“great service”
the room was a bit small for two people, but the customer service was the best!
“Good location”
Very good hotel, good location, clean.
“Main Line”
I rather stay in the city center near the attraction.
“An excellent choice for a more authenic experience”
We booked this hotel at the last minute and really lucked out! It is a bit far from the big tourist center, but we loved the neighborhood. It was walking distance to some great restaurants and bars that were clearly local favorites. If you don't have the option to stay with a friend, I highly recommend this hotel.
“Nice Hotel”
Nice little hotel in a neighborhood outside the tourist attractions, but still close to everything. Several Metro stations nearby. 2 min walk to metro. I am a walker and found that within a 40min walk you can be at the Louvre. 15 min walk to Moulin Rouge/Red Light area. If you have alot of luggage, you may need a bigger room. Keep in mind European rooms tend to be very small. Overall, I thought the hotel was good value. Paris is a very expensive city.
“It's nice to have a recently redone hotel in paris”
We have been to europe several times but have never been to paris however have been told most hotels are older... We read that this hotel was recently redone and decided to try it. It had the quaintness of a parisienne hotel but voila! the room and bathroom were of a new hotel. Our only complaint that the room was a bit on the warmer side, but everything else was great. The staff were wonderfully kind - very helpful with all our never-been-to-paris questions and spoke english well. Free wifi and internet access. The metro stop is a block away, which made travelling throughout the city easy. Excellent bistro across the street - Bistro L'Affice - should not be missed! Starbucks is nearby for those of you who also prefer american coffee. We would definitely recommend this cute, convenient hotel with its wonderful staff.
“An Ideal Hotel for Our First Trip to Paris”
My wife, daughter and I spent a week at Hotel Cervantes in April, our first time in Paris. It was perfect for us. The hotel is in a great location. . .a two minute walk from the Rome Metro station, from which we effortlessly accessed everywhere in the city we wanted to go on the city's superb transit system. The hotel is surrounded by a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood with many nearby restaurants, bistros and bakeries. With lattes, croissants and pastries so close, we never made it to the hotel's breakfast buffet! The hotel has a smallish feel and, as expected, our room was not especially large, esp. with a rollaway bed next to our King bed. But the maid service was very good and the TV and bathroom were modern. We enjoyed the street views from the accessible small balconies. The hotel's best feature may be its excellent front desk staff. We saw four different persons as we came and went over that week, all of whom were youngish, very courteous and helpful, and spoke flawless English. It was a traveler's review very similar to this one which caused us to book our stay with this hotel. Cervantes has received enthusiastic reviews from visitors despite offering a fairly moderate price range. . .I'm glad to report the good reviews were well deserved.
“Great hotel”
Hotel was in a great location. The metro was 1 block away and several restaurants were within walking distance. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a residential area, so it was very quiet at night. Great way to recharge and take on Paris the next day. I would definitely stay here again.
“Great find in Paris”
We got stuck in Paris for one night and found Hotel Cervantes on Expedia. We easily took the train there from the airport and found it to be a very short walk from the Metro stop. The desk clerk guided us to the perfect little neighborhood French restaurant and showed us a walking route to the Sacre Coeur. It was a lovely unexpected night in Paris. The hotel was clean and nice and very reasonably priced.
