Looks Ok But!

The hotel looked OK from the outside, but our room was small and out dated and in need of refurbishment, overall the the price was too high for what was on offer. I think shabby would describe it best.

Nice hotel
Posted Jan 21, 2011 on Hotels.com
We lived there for 3 days, and overall is it a fine hotel. Cheap prices, and nice rooms. The rooms are fairly small, but that was no problem for us. There are only two things that could be better. 1. There could have been aircondition in the rooms. 2. Sometimes you can hear the sound from the cars outside. Otherwise, everything was very good.. friendly staff ect ect.. I would recomend this hotel to others.

Hotel Clarisse in Paris
Posted Jan 24, 2010 on Hotels.com
The hotel was convenient to the metro (one block away) and several cafes and shops. The price was reasonable and afforded 3 beds for 3 of us in one room. It was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the noise of the street traffic, but with the windows closed, it was manageable. The concierge was very pleasant and helpful and recommended several very good, reasonable restaurants on Blvd. Montparnasse, a few stops away via metro.

Reasonable for budget travel
Posted Jan 22, 2010 on Hotels.com
Just about what you would expect for a low-cost hotel in Paris. Nothing disappointing. Location was great, right across the street from the tram station, several metro lines within walking distance that get you to whatever it is you're there for, and the surrounding neighborhood was safe, relatively quiet, and there was enough to do (eat, grocery, banks, etc). Staff was cordial, room was always cleaned. One small annoyance was that you have to turn your key in at the front desk when you leave.

Cheap hotel in Paris near Montparnasse
Posted Jan 30, 2010 on Hotels.com
For Paris, this is a cheap hotel. Near to metro/tram stations and about 20 min walk south from Montparnasse rail station. Fairly basic amenities and not the best area, but OK for an overnight stop. They do have free wifi if you have your own laptop (not mentioned in Hotels.com listing) but you have to pay a couple of euros to use the hotel's computer. Breakfast is expensive and nothing special, I wouldn't bother with it again.

This hotel was in a very noisy location, unless you are intoxicated or have sleeping pills you will not sleep here.

A great place to stay
Posted Jan 24, 2008
This hotel is close to public transportation with a tram in front of the door and a metro station at 5 minutes walk. Our room was clean, bathroom was brandly new and nicely decorated. There is no restaurant within the hotel but we had diner in several nice restaurants in the neighbourhood (I recommend the Italian one). French breakfast with croissants, bread and several juices. Small bar opened 24/7. High points: Clean, excellent service/help from the staff, fluent in english

Good hotel out of city centre
Posted Jan 3, 2008
Hotel Clarisse was small, clean but a good way from the centre. It does have a direct bus route and a metro stop close by. We were also able to find restaurants nearby and there is a small supermarket right next door.

Not impressed at all
Posted Jan 28, 2007
This hotel is very overpriced for the quality. The room was tiny even by European hotel standards, outdated and dirty. The elevator was so small one person had to go at a time and most of the lights in the hallway did not work. The beds were hard and old, sheets dirty. Parking is an extra 15 euro a night.
