Get away break in ParisPosted Mar 29, 2013
Room & bathroom was on the small side but clean and functioned superbly (even the shower was strong and considering we were on the 6th floor this is not always the case. The hotel was well placed for all of the restaurants in the Latin quarter being a 10 minute walk away and the are felt very safe. Breakfast was 7€ extra which was in line with the area and breakfast in cafe's.

Good if you are on a budget.Posted Mar 28, 2013
Pros: The friendly and helpful reception staff.
Cons: The shower arrangement.
Location: Situated in the Latin Quarter, we had great choices for eating out, with nothing too far. Near to a Metro station, so easy to get around.
The hotel is clean and bedrooms are cleaned everyday, with fresh towels. If you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head at night, it is fine. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom compact. The shower arrangement was adequate, but the design meant water flooded the bathroom floor. The breakfast at 7Euros is OK, but they only had lemon or Earl Grey tea, not a good choice for a breakfast tea.

Great hotel for budget travelersPosted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Small bathroom.
This hotel has an excellent location, wonderful staff, and is a good value. The rooms are clean and neat but not new. The room and bathroom are small but perfectly functional and the beds are comfortable. The room is warm in the dead of winter. There is an elevator that will accommodate 2 people or 1 person with luggage. An easy and pleasant stay. Recommended!
a tight squeeze in the right placePosted Jan 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
the rooms are as tiny as the location is magnifique! right next to Sorbonne uni in a lovely district, close to a metro that goes directly to airport - Luxembourg station. no tea, coffee making facilities, but great staff ...

You get what you pay forPosted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Free WIFI and super friendly staff
Cons: Itty bitty rooms with old furniture.
Location: Midst of the bustling Saint Michael/Soborne area. A taxi stand/ 2 metro stations and full range of restaurants are within a 10 minute walk.
Excellent for very frugal travelers, but be prepared for extremely tiny thin-walled rooms containing old/beat up furniture. I would rate this one step above a hostel. That said, the exceptional friendliness of the staff, free WIFI, and great location made the stay worth it for this single traveler.

For young lovers, and the young at heartPosted Sep 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hôtel Cluny Sorbonne is for young lovers, and for the young at heart (we are the latter). The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The service was first rate. The room was smallish, but there was room for everything needed (good bed, nice shower, desk and chair, window for air conditioning). The elevator was so small it would only take two people or one person and a large suitcase (we were on the sixth floor so we were reluctant to take the spiral stair case), but that just added to the romance. An interesting neighborhood, between the Sorbonne and Luxembourg Gardens. The Hôtel Cluny Sorbonne serves breakfast, but we found it more interesting to go to the nearby cafes or grocery shops.

Great, but smallPosted Sep 3, 2012
The room was clean. The location was great. Thank goodness they put me into a "double room" - I would have been claustrophobic in anything smaller. Also thank goodness I was alone. It would have been very tight for two people. But for one person it was great and I will be happy to go there again.
