Can't Beat the ValuePosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel Cordelia was an extremely pleasant stay. The staff was super helpful and polite in assisting my wife, myself and our gracious host couple. The hotel is nicely located just a few blocks from the Metro which you can use to get everywhere you need ( The Lourvre, Eifel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame, etc.. ) at about 8 euros per 24 hrs. There is a nice bistro located just outside of the hotel, Le Greffulhe, that was wonderful for cocktails, snacks, or a meal if so choose. Paris can be a bit pricey, but with the great value and central location that is offered by the Cordelia and Hotels.com, it makes the entire journey worthwhile. Merci.

Good hotelPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We liked the room, location, and the friendly staff. They were always helpful with information related to any questions we asked. Thye cleaned our room each time we were out. The only bad part about our trip was that the air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived. When we asked about it, they said they were doing renovations and the sytem was down for our stay. They said they sent us an email to inform us, but we never received it. The same thing happened to another guest when they arrived, and we heard the same explanation. They said they didn't receive the email either. Probably not the best idea to have the air conditioning down during the hottest months of the year :)

Great staff...outdated facilities.Posted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: Staff was outstanding
Cons: Furnishings need to be updated.
Location: Several good, medium-priced restaurants on the same block. Metro station nearby.
My wife and I were in Paris for our 15th wedding anniversary, it was my second time in Paris and I wanted something a bit nicer than what I had before, which was another 3 star hotel in this area. At the same time, I couldn't afford the $500+ per night rates of the many hotels in Paris. While I knew I was not getting the fiinest of hotels, this one fell a bit short of my expectations. Yes, the rooms are small...it's Paris...I knew that would be the case. But the furnishings were old and outdated, probably the same as they were 20-30 years ago. The mattress was old and may have even had a few springs broken on it. The walls had a fabric on them which dampened the sound from other rooms but was also dirty and worn in places. However, the staff was great. They were extrermely helpful and dealt quickly with any issues. They also spoke English well, which was helpful to me. Location was ok...a little off the beaten path but only a block away from the havre-coumartin metro station.

Great locationPosted May 21, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff which were more personal than staff at a previous hotel, location of hotel was great, close to Hop on Hop Off bus and Metro.
Cons: Smell of cigarette smoke
Location: In Opera area also close to the Madeline Church
Lady at front desk who checked us in on Friday 17th May 2013 ( sorry I don't know her name) was very friendly and helpful when requesting information. Location of hotel was great, room was small, but we were only there to sleep. The only issue was when we opened the window for fresh air all we could smell was Cigarette smoke which came from people sitting outside the Bar across the road. Our room overlooked the Bar.

Quaint and perfectly locatedPosted May 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was in a great location for all the key sites: Rue de Rivoli was approx a 5-7 minute easy stroll. It was comfortable with friendly staff and was all we needed to come back to after a day out in the city.

Great location and comfortPosted Apr 9, 2013
Pros: quality of breakfast foods
Cons: wireless network
Location: excellent for metro and visit tourist attractions or shopping walk
Hotel well located and very rich breakfast you can walk or take the subway as you like. You need to upgrade your wireless network. If you are looking for rest and good care is a good option.
