A funky but very cool hotelPosted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Artsy, clean, and creative
Cons: It can use new rugs in the small hallways. And, the tub and shower were large but the shower spray nozzle was on a hose and had to be hand held.
I loved this boutique hotel. It's in a great location near the Louvre and lots of restaurants. It's small but the room was big enough with a large bed, desk. And, it's artistic and creative and refreshing from so many other hotels. It's an exceptional value.

Chic decor in an excellent locationPosted Nov 29, 2014
Arrived at 1:30pm room not yet ready but staff allowed us to check in and leave our bags to enable us get on with or sightseeing. Location was great just a few minutes walk from the Louvre and Chatelet Les Halles station. When we returned our bags had been taken up to the room. Room itself was small but had everything, it was beautifully decorated and smelled lovely with the bathroom a particular highlight.

Convenient location for tourist.Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The staff and unique decorations based on art. Location in central Paris.
Cons: Due to size restrictions of the rooms, they did the best they could.
Location: Louvre and stock exchange were in walking distance.
The staff was super nice and helpful. The room was tight but ok if you went out touring all day. I was on a business trip and so the room felt tight. The desk was a high glass table and a little awkward to work on as it was very narrow. I also struggled with the internet, but I was told that was unusual.

Tiny Room, Very Well LocatedPosted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Careful -- they have purchased another building around the corner from the address on the website (called Crayon Rouge) and we were put there.
Funky, modern layout with self-serve breakfast. Probably the smallest room we've been in in years, but comfortable and clean. Extremely well located, walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc., with good restaurants, cafes, boulangerie and small grocery store around the corner. Friendly, English speaking staff.

Well located, but small--even by Paris standards.Posted Oct 25, 2014
Helpful if busy staff. Extremely small rooms, even by Paris standards. Would be more palatable if it were not $300 a night. $200 would be more reasonable for what you get, which is basically a great location.

Tourists visiting Paris for the first timePosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Located in Central Paris
Cons: The transmission of noise between floors
Location: Walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the subway.
The hotel is close to the Seine and the Louvre so was handy for touristy things. Generally the hotel was properly reflected in the images we saw on line at expedia. The annoying things were the wooden floors of the rooms above us, which transmitted lots of noise when people chose to walk around their room in the middle of the night after returning to the hotel, and the fact there was only one English TV station so when we wanted to relax in our room we had to watch a US business channel. The noise from the overhead rooms was enough to prevent us every staying at this hotel again.
