Nice friendly staff really close to the metro

Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable
Cons: Size of the bathroom could have been a bit bigger
Location: Near to metro stations. Lots of options for Asian food and Near Gare du Nord station there are many options for a variety of food.
Surrounding areas of Gare Du Nord looks a bit run down. So I would prefer other areas for my stay such as Montmartre area. It is very close to metro station La Chapelle and Gare Du Nord. Although you wouldn't need to take the metro as it is about 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord station. Our stay was very pleasant as the staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was quite decent. Nice and clean. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Close to the metro

The hotel staff were friendly and approachable gave us directions to all the tourist attractions. The room is small but was adequate for us, it was clean with comfortable beds for us to have a good night's rest daily after all the walks. The location of the hotel is near the La Chappelle metro station which was very convenient.

Pros: Nearness to train station
Cons: No fridge in the room and area a bit dodgy
Location: Not great but cheap hotel in Montmartre so hard to complain
Not the greatest area, the street the hotel is in is fine but in surrounding streets in the afternoon at night it can be a little scary. The hotel was great though, excellent service and very nice staff.

Nice hotel but disappointed

Posted Jul 10, 2013
The hotel is very clean, classic looking, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we were disappointed with the neighbourhood (bit of a walk to cafes), breakfast not included, and no air conditioning and very tiny washroom in the room.

Never again in Paris!

Pros: It was quaint
Cons: Location
Location: Terrible.
Hotel was decent but the location was not great. For 3 females traveling we did not feel safe in this location. Not a great variety of restaurants. We were booked for 3 nights and stayed only 1. Didn't even care if we lost our money for the 2 other nights booked. I would not stay in this area again.

Very Special hotel

Pros: The cleanliness and comfort
Cons: It had no hot drink-making facilities in room.
Location: It was just a few minutes' walk to the nearest Metro station. Quiet at night-time, which was nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de Bellevue. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially the young man on night duty on reception throughout our stay), our room was lovely and clean and comfortable, and a pleasure to be in - the only thing that would have made it completely perfect would have been if there had been a small kettle and coffee and tea-making faciitlies actually in our room too (although there was a vending machine downstairs in the reception area, it would have been lovely to have drink-making facilities right there for us when first waking in the mornings). The breakfast room in our hotel was a complete pleasure to eat in - we had breakfast on just one out of our three mornings there, and was one of the things we enjoyed most from our stay - there was everything there that you could possible need for breakfast to choose from, and the two ladies looking after the breakfast room and putting out the buffet food for everyone were so efficient and made it all look so special. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hotel de Bellevue again if we are ever lucky enough to go to Paris again in future.

Stay away, this place is a disaster.

Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: See above.
Location: Poor location, few restaurants, unsafe according to cabby.
1.Bad part of town--you know you're in trouble when the cabby warns you on drop-off. 2.Hotel staff(males) stand around doing nothing. Woman behind counter does everything. 3.Rooms smell tired, old paint, depressing decor. 4.Wi-fi not working above 1st floor. Happens a lot. 5. Elevator broke 10 minutes after check-in. I checked out and into a better hotel.
