Good valuePosted May 23, 2015
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Not really, the size of the room is what it is.
Location: Restaurants all over. Easy walk to Notre Dame, D'Orsay, L'Orangerie and the Luxembourg Gardens. There's a little market and grocery across the st.
Great staff, very helpful. The room was pretty decent, but very small. Not a deal breaker, but you need to be aware

Charming small hotelPosted May 16, 2015
Pros: Excellent location, very courteous and professional staff.
Location: Steps from a street full of cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Very safe area.
Charming hotel within walking distance to major sites such as the Louvre, Notre Dame,& Mussee Orsay . Staff was fantastic and recommended some excellent, and reasonably priced restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it.

A gem!Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Everything. :)
Location: There are a lot of restaurants and small shops around the hotel. Walking distance to most sights, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower etc. Close to Metro.
We stayed in this hotel for four nights and it was absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in room 14, the smallest room in the hotel, but it was very well planned and well decorated so you got a really romantic genuine Paris feeling. The attention to detail was outstanding. If you stay longer than four days you would probably be more comfortable in one of their larger rooms. There were blinds that made the rooms pitch dark and in combination with very comfortable beds and a very efficient air conditioner made for excellent sleeping conditions. The staff is very attentive and all speak English very well. The breakfast was very delicious, freshly squeezed juices and a good variation of high quality food. The lobby area is very welcoming and cozy. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel.

great location for central sightsPosted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: small enough to feel cosy and personal contact made us feel at home throughout our stay. Our room was very pretty and everything worked.
Cons: Very hot water for tea pot at breakfast
Location: Great location for both buzzing around Paris or being quiet down side streets and roads.
We spent six nights in Hotel de Buci and this meant we were close to everything on our itinerary plus eating/drinking out or buying for any self catering snacks were on our doorstep.

A delightful findPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Everything, particularly breakfast.
Cons: If they could make it cheaper I'd go back tomorrow.
Location: Very central, ten minute walk with children to the Seine, Notre Dame and the Louvre, full of restaurants and quite arty. A great vibrant place to be.
Having never been to Paris before I had little idea what to expect, but thankfully we chose the Hotel De Buci. Excellent room, amazing breakfast, lovely and friendly staff and a thoroughly fantastic hotel. We were a party of four, two adults and two children and felt very welcomed with a suit that consisted of two rooms, a bedroom and a living room/bedroom with bathroom off.

Fantastic hotel in great locationPosted Apr 12, 2015
Our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) just returned from Paris. Hotel de Buci was a real highlight. The staff was out of this world great. Very accommodating and helpful. The dinner reservations were perfect. Places we would never have considered that served lovely food in beautiful, small restaurants. Gave us the authentic Parisian experience. Our suite was comfortable and well finished. The location is perfect. Hotel de Buci is this family's "go to" hotel in Paris.

Great hotel in a great location.Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: It was very comfortable, but I would say the key feature would be the excellent location.
Cons: The front desk staff were not as helpful as I would have expected in answering fairly basic tourist type questions.
We were looking for a comfortable boutique hotel that would be close to interesting shopping and dining, with convenient access to transit. We found it, and could not have been happier with our choice. Our hotel room was very quiet, but step out the front door, and you are minutes to bustling cafe's, markets and boutiques. There are 2 Metro stops very close by, which we used extensively.

Great hotel close to major sitesPosted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: The staff was very helpful. They left chocolates on our bed every night and left us a box of chocolates the first night.
Cons: Our room was a little warm at night. Adjusting the thermostat didn't help much.
Location: The hotel was only a short walk to the Seine and very walkable to Notre Dame. There were many cafes nearby.
This was a great hotel. The staff were very helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in and our room wasn't ready. They held our bags while we went and got lunch, and when we came back the bags were in our room. The staff even showed us how to work the thermostat, safe, lights, etc. They left a box of excellent chocolates in our room as a welcome gift and left chocolates on our bed every night. The location was very convenient to walk to/take the Metro to most of the major museums, etc. We followed a staff recommendation for dinner one night, and it was excellent. The room was a tad small, but I think that is probably the case with many Paris hotel rooms.

Excellent hotel choice, perfect locationPosted Feb 25, 2015
This is an excellent choice for a hotel in Paris. My wife and I stayed a week at Hotel de Buci, and the hotel is comfortable, stylish, and clean. Our main reasons for choosing Hotel De Buci was we liked the look of the hotels/rooms, the convenient location, and price compared to comparable hotels. We had a great time, and will recommend this hotel to any friends and family planning a trip to Paris. The staff are very welcoming, and are there to help, including suggesting places to see, making meal reservations, and purchasing advanced tickets to museums. The location is incredible - in Saint Germain, on a street with plenty of small bakeries, restaurants, and boutique retail shops etc. We were able to walk all over Paris from the hotel, with the location of the hotel conveniently located near many of Paris' sights.
