Exactly as advertisedPosted Nov 12, 2013
Room was small by Motel 6 standards, but given its location in Paris, it was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was immaculate and quiet. Nothing to complain about.

very nice small hotelPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The staff is always very polite, and accomodating.
Location: The location is fabulous. A metro station within 100 yards, and the neighborhood is very lively with great cafes and bistros just outside the door.
this was our third stay at the Buci Hotel. we arrived 7:00 am and the staff made certain that our room was avaliable within one hour. The rooms are adequate size, and well sound proofed. Breakfast is as good as any five star, with wide selection.

Excellent location...Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Spent 5 days there and had a rally good time. The location is excellent: close to many good cafes and restaurants, walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre and close to the metro (St. Germain des Pres stop on the 4 line). We did not interact or require much from the staff but they were all generally pleasant. Rooms are tiny but clean and comfortable.

Lovely HotelPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: comfortable beds and excellent breakfast
Cons: No fantastic views but not needed since we were out and about all day. Inside was very pretty and well maintained.
Location: Definitely great for the cafes and restaurants only 1 minute walk away. Great for access to Metro stations and to the river.
Perfect location in front of a quaint Parisian side street with restaurants and supermarkets. Great location for reaching many of the main sites by foot along the river. We were a party of 5 from UK and US and we loved the place - room and breakfast were wonderful.

nice hotel with great locationPosted Oct 3, 2013
Cons: a real shower door so water wouldn't leak out while showering
Charming small room with comfortable bed. We were able to walk to to many of the sites. Located in a desirable neighborhood with plenty of eating/drinking spots around.

Great Left Bank locationPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Responsive and helpful staff, room comfort, location
Cons: The bathroom could have better light
Location: We walked to Notre Dame, a couple museums, and we were close to the river. There was a large selection of eating choices nearby.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room, with 2 single beds pushed together, was small but comfortable. There were built in wardrobes on each side and a built in safe. There was also a small nook and chair to use as a desk area. The bathroom was very small, but the shower pressure was excellent. The hotel staff needed to contact an english speaking doctor for us, and he arrived promptly. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay in a wonderful location near many cafes, a grocery store, and within walking distance to a number of the attractions.

Boutique Hotel in a PERFECT neighborhood!Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Comfortable bed, great location, nice staff
Location: Walking distance to Lourve, Musee d' Orsay, Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. GREAT food nearby but avoid the street St. Germain itself.
From the moment we got into Paris, we had a wonderful experience with Hotel De Buci... especially since they let us check in early at 8:00am!! Sanjay is the BEST, most sweetest concierge I have ever encountered. He helped me weeks before our stay booking restaurants for lunch/dinner and answered every single question we had promptly! The hotel accommodations are comfortable and very nice. Of course the rooms are small.. it's Europe, but the bed was very comfortable and the shower wasn't too crowded. The location is absolutely perfect... about a 15 min walk to most everything you need, except the Eiffel tower-- would recommend taking a taxi if you decide to take multiple trips in that direction (like we did) but we also did walk it a few times... about at 35 min walk. Look up non-touristy places to eat in the area because the touristy spots were awful... Les Deux Magots to name one. We found some lovely places in the area, so a little research would go a long way! I am sure Sanjay would answer any questions you may have regarding food choices as well!! Oh and shopping in this area is AMAZING :)

Location: Best location in Paris - surrounded by metro stations, great eating places and minutes away from the Seine. Fab vibe - we'll go back to this one
Nice hotel in a great area. Staff helpful and friendly; loads of good eating around. Hotel breakfast very good with a wide selection. Properly working AC! Hotel was in good repair - nothing was shabby.
