Good location

Smallest room I have ever stayed in after traveling for many years. Room approx 9 6" x 9 '6". Not space enough for a chair or large luggage. Good bath.

Lovely hotel, great friendly staff. Great busy location but very quiet rooms. Would certainly stay here again.

Smart choice

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Location, it 2 blocks from a metro station. Plenty of food options just outside the door. Staff made me feel welcome. We will be back
Cons: The hard part for the hotel will be keeping this kind of service up.
Location: Read above
This has been my 4th visit to Paris, and first hotel I would Consider returning to. The rooms are small, but it is Paris. The location is easy to get to, and makes excursions easier. Also so many food, and drink options just outside the hotel door. There is a market half a block away that's open from 8am till 11pm (8-23). Room was clean, staff was polite, friendly, and helpful.

Great Location!

Posted Jun 16, 2015
The location and staff of this hotel are excellent! You can easily walk to the designer shopping and it is in the middle of many small shops & cafes. Around the corner, a little 'farmers' market popped up on Saturday morning selling the most beautiful produce, cheeses, sausages, flowers, etc... Truly a perfect location. The public areas of the hotel are clean, well maintained, and very pretty. The front desk was always staffed by someone with a smile that spoke both French & English. The breakfast was nice but very over priced; There were lots of choices, everything was fresh and plentiful, the waiter very pleasant, etc... but had we stayed longer we would have gone out to eat at one of the many surrounding cafes. We were given an upgrade to a larger suite and, although it was lovely, it was not as clean as I would have hoped. Replacing the carpets would make a big difference. My only critiques of this beautiful gem of a boutique hotel are the cleanliness of the rooms and the price of the breakfast.

Stylish, romantic hotel in the perfect location

Posted Jun 12, 2015
We loved our stay at Hotel de Buci! We booked a De Maitre room and were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room, which was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved opening the windows to take in the vibrant street outside, which is central to everything and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Staff were professional and helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Paris Experience

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: We chose it for location and room decor. The decor was very traditional French Colonial. Very nice!
Hotel was centrally located in the St Germain district. We thought it would be a little more "low key" than near the Eiffel Tower. It was, but it was still hectic and crowded. The hotel was nice, but some of their "sales pitches" aren't quite accurate. They say they have a bar, but it is no more than some bottles of liquor in a lounge area, where the receptionist on duty will mix some drinks - NOT A BAR! The breakfast was nice, but certainly NOT worth $20 Euro per person. Especially when there are so many bakeries right outside the hotel door at very reasonable prices. As well as a fruit market and supermarket across the street from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, but not as knowledgeable as I would have liked them to be.

Ten day stay in Paris.

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Location, friendliness & helpfulness of staff, great breakfast & charming décor.
Cons: Maybe provide a wider variety of bed pillows with different types of hardness/softness.
Location: The D'Orsay, Louvre & Rodin museums were very easy walking distance. Also, San Chapelle, Notre Dame & the Cluny museum were nearby. Gardens too!
We stay at the Hotel De Buci from May 15-25. The location was fantastic & we walked to many museums, restaurants & shopping. The hotel staff was lovely to us & went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The breakfast each morning was delicious & well worth the $20 Euros. It saved a lot of time finding another place to eat & the quality/quantity of food was great. The concerige, Sanjay, also recommended a show & restaurant for us that really made our trip special! He was a wonderful resource - I've stayed in many 4/ 5 star hotels but have never had this level of service til now! Highly recommend this hotel & will plan to come back.

Good value

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Not really, the size of the room is what it is.
Location: Restaurants all over. Easy walk to Notre Dame, D'Orsay, L'Orangerie and the Luxembourg Gardens. There's a little market and grocery across the st.
Great staff, very helpful. The room was pretty decent, but very small. Not a deal breaker, but you need to be aware

Charming small hotel

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: Excellent location, very courteous and professional staff.
Location: Steps from a street full of cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Very safe area.
Charming hotel within walking distance to major sites such as the Louvre, Notre Dame,& Mussee Orsay . Staff was fantastic and recommended some excellent, and reasonably priced restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it.
