Within easy reach of Tourist area

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Within walking distance to a wide choice of eating out places
Cons: A bit more sound proofing is needed. Being so close to the main roads, it was a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning
Location: Not easy to find. Could be better signposted
Good. Room was a bit smaller than expected, but non the less, equipped with all the necessities. good choice of eating out places within walking distances. A bit difficult to find the location.

The hotel room was not what was shown in the picture. Very dirty and smelly. Staff friendly but horrible besides that.

Pros: Close to metro

Toilet appeared clean, but smelly. No exhaust fan. Had to ask for soap and toilet rolls. Noisy at night.

Alright for a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. The hotel room was small. If you just want somewhere to crash this place is adequate.

If you are stuck its an ok place to stay

Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Very close to the Metro...that's about it
Cons: general upkeep of the hotel would be good, a better seating area for breakfast, maybe some fresh paint.
Its located just outside of the nice areas in a little more of a sketchy area over a fried chicken place. The rooms were large but incredibly basic. The shower was way too small, every time you tried to turn around it would shut off the water since you had no choice but to hit the tap.

Extremely noisey location.

Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Close to the metro.
Cons: Cleanliness and air conditioning so you can close the window to lessen the noise.
Stayed 4 nights and the sheets and towels were never changed. Can't sleep with so much noise throughout the night. Very small bathroom. Shower fluctuates from hot to cold while showering. Shady location. .... Not worth staying even for a discount!

A Cheap Hotel in a Dingy Neighborhood in Paris

Posted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: 1. The rate was low. 2. The hotel was very close to an entrance to the Metro.
Cons: 1. Improve the soundproofing in the rooms so that each room is insulated from the others. 2. Offer a few facilities for the convenience of patrons.
Location: The Hotel de la Terrasse was located in the Porte de Clinancourt, a run-down neighborhood, and there were few entertainment facilities nearby.
The Hotel de la Terrasse was cheap because it was located in a run-down neighborhood in Paris. There were no restaurants of good quality in the neighborhood, and various people in the neighborhood warned me that the area was crime-ridden. The walls of the rooms were paper thin, and I could hear guests in the rooms next door running water in the bathroom and talking at all hours of the night. The bed in my room was lumpy, the television did not work, and the room was generally dingy and poorly equipped. When I told the man at the desk that the television did not work, he said that someone would come to fix it, but no one ever did. I chose the hotel because they only charged eighty-one euros per night, and I found out why their rates were so low.

Don't stay here

The staff was rude. The beds were terrible. My lights didn't work. If it was 30 dollars cheaper maybe it's worth it.

A cheap base

Posted Jun 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked because it was cheap, and you get what you pay for. The best aspect is that it's very close to Clignacourt metro which is on the end of a line so you get a seat into Paris on their horribly crowded system. For somewhere inexpensive to sleep while you enjoy Paris, it's fine. If you can't put up with tatty no-service, look elsewhere
