Nice hotel in a great locationPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness and helpful staff
Location: The location is a huge plus - walking distance to Invalides, lots of good restaurants nearby, but it's not noisy.
We spent three nights in the Hotel Cadran and would recommend it highly. Considering hotels in Paris are notoriously tiny, it is fairly spacious with a nice bathroom and the location is great. It is very clean and modern and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. We tried several of the great little restaurants just downstairs and the food was good, with plenty of locals eating there. We were very impressed with the helpful reception staff, who were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our Great experience at Hotel du CardanPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: A very friendly and helpful staff, and very nice breakfast at a reasonable price jut a elevator ride away.
Cons: It was plain to see that the Hotel had recently been renovated. It was clean, modern and comfortable.
Location: Hotel du Cardan was close to the Metro stop, Eiffel Tower and Cafe's and markets.
From the time we walker into the door the staff was helpful, friendly and ready to see to our needs. We were there three hours prior to check in time and the stored our luggage and gave us a map of things to do while waiting to official check in

Nice hotel in excellent area.Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Clean hotel with nice staff and air conditioning.
Location: Excellent location in a residential area just far away enough from the hustle & bustle but within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower.
The hotel is within a short walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Seine. Rue Cler is a block away with many sidewalk cafes, an excellent bakery/pastry shop, cheese shop, and numerous other shops catering to local residents as well as tourists. A true Parisian experience! A dinner at Reeds (a few blocks away on Rue Amelie) is a must! It is a small restaurant (reservations recommended) run by chef Catherine Reed. Ms. Reed teaches cooking classes by day and cooks/operates the small 5 table restaurant entirely by herself in the evenings. Food was fantastic and Ms. Reed a pleasure to visit with!

Location excellent. Hotel room small.Posted Jul 5, 2014
The hotel is well located near markets and restaurants. The room was very small and the bathroom poorly designed and uncomfortable to use. The staff could have been friendlier.

Friendly staff. Small but comfortable rooms. Bathroom shower poorly designed but got the job done. Great location and nice restaurants close by. Bike rental steps away. Would recommend it.

Lovely hotel near the Eiffel TowerPosted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Close to the Eiffel Tower, restaurants and shops.
We are a large family of 5 and the hotel very easily accommodated us. We were placed in a large room on the ground floor, perfect with small children. Each child had their own bed, with our oldest having a "nook" area with a book shelf right there. There was plenty of storage for clothes and luggage, as well as a small refrigerator. The hotel is quite close to many restaurants and shops. The walk to the Eiffel Tower was very easy and lovely. The front desk was helpful with any questions and recommendations.

Great base for exploring Paris.Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Style, location, cleanliness.
Cons: Bed uncomfortable. Glass door on bathroom with no window blind means the room is very light. Would appreciate a breakfast included in the price.
Location: Two great bar/cafés next door and very close to Metro.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and location of the hotel. Immaculately clean with a contemporary vibe and close to Metro. Rooms on the small side but in line with Paris and cities in general.
