Great hotel in a wonderful location!

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Location and very friendly staff, rooms were a good size for Paris. Very safe friendly neighborhood, good for walking.
Location: Short walk to Rue Cler with lots of places to eat. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower.
Enjoyed 4 nights at Hotel du Cadran last week. Room was very nice, very clean. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower, at night it was especially pretty. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Step out front and walk a few feet to Rue Cler with lots of cafe's, markets, and bakery's. Short walk to the Eiffel Tower and one of the bus stops for the Hop On/Hop off tour bus. Loved it! I would recommend this hotel and hopefully will go back. I did not use the breakfast service so I cannot comment on that. I had breakfast at the cafe's on Rue Cler.

Great, fun location!

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: We enjoyed the great location and felt it was a good value for the money.
Cons: The personnel could have offered a wider range of recommendations for restaurants and public transportation.
Location: You can sightsee, shop and dine as well as relax and enjoy a drink in the cafes.
The room was very small but was designed well and the bathroom was good size. The hotel was in the same block as two great cafes. Also nearby were bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops and small gift shops. It was in walking distance to major attractions.

Excellent small hotel in safe quiet pleasant area

Posted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: Clean, modern, very comfortable room; complimentary maracoons!
Location: Walking distance to two metro stops, quiet pedestrianized streets nearby, with cafes, restaurants, boulangerie, small supermarkets, fruit stalls, etc
Overall, a very pleasant experience. Free wifi in the hotel. Requested a twin room but initially informed only doubles available, however the room allocated had a very large double (in fact two twin beds together) which worked fine. Very frlendly reception staff; early check-in was available, very clean room with modern decor. Bath and shower. Large flatscreen tv. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but had it instead at a nice cafe around the corner. Some low-level noise from the street at night (people just chatting outside cafes after 11pm). I would be happy to stay there again.

Loved our stay at Hotel du Cadran. Had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower from the windows. Will definitely go back and stay at this hotel again. Would recommend to anyone. Perfect location as in walking distance to all the attractions in the centre. 10 out of 10 for me.

Clean hotel but room was small

Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Bigger room, larger bathroom and shower, larger safe, more English TV channels, coffee/tea facility, better toiletries.
Location: Good cafes & restaurants nearby.
I was pleased with my overall stay at Hotel Du Cadran. The pluses were friendly staff and location of the hotel near numerous pattisiers, restaurants and grocery stores. It was easy to get around Paris from this hotel because of its close proximity to the train station. I did however find the room very small and tight. There was only minimal wardrobe space; the safe could not fit my laptop or ipad so I had to store them in my locked bag everyday; limited TV channels in English; and the bathroom was the size of an aeroplane toilet but with a tiny shower which I could hardly squeeze into (I am only an average built guy). Can't imagine anyone bigger (height and width) fitting into that shower. I enjoyed my stay but will probably stay in another hotel during my next visit.

The Only Place We Stay in Paris

Posted Jan 22, 2014
Three trips to Paris in two years; three stays at the Hotel du Cadran. Great, conveniently-located, clean, friendly hotel. If we visit Paris again, I guarantee where we will stay. Loved the market on the Rue Cler, being able to stroll to the Eiffel Tower, and hopping on the nearby Metro.
