Charming, cheapish hotel on Boulevard VoltairePosted Nov 3, 2013
Maybe the décor would not be to everyone's taste, and the rooms are small, but this is a very nice place to stay if you don't want to spend too much money. The staff were an absolute delight, happy to indulge my competent French, but also perfectly capable in English. They recommended sensible local places to eat. The bathroom was small but well-appointed, the bed very comfortable, and I there are good bakers and wine shops, &c near by. All in all, I place I'd be very happy to recommend to anyone who needs a reasonably affordable place to stay for a few nights. Excellent.

A Friendly Hotel in a Very Nice NeighborhoodPosted Oct 9, 2013
This lovely family-run hotel is comfortable, even though the rooms are extremely small. The staff was very customer-oriented. The hotel is located in a very nice and safe area of eastern Paris. Plenty of food shops are in this area and were all excellent. We were very close to the Metro station which gets you to the tourist areas in a matter of minutes.

Good Value Near Place de NationPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Front desk staff, bathroom, minimal street noise, nice elevator, good restaurants nearby, coffee place with bread and some pastries next door.
Cons: Our bed tended to have a valley in the middle.
Location: Metro stop Nation. Mostly locals. Not a big touristy area itself. Lots of cafes and good places to eat.
The hotel is located conveniently close to the Nation Metro. We stayed in room 604, our adult son and his wife stayed in 602. This is the top floor of the hotel. It does have an elevator that runs promptly, The bathrooms were great, nice shower with lots of hot water. Great air conditioning, too. The windows have automated metal shutters that block out 99% of the noise. Very good retaurants in the neighborhood and easy to get around the rest of Paris once you're on the metro. It's about 50-60 Euros for a cab ride from/to Charles de Gaulle AIrport and takes 45 minutes or so. We liked the place.

Lovely! It was our first time in Paris and this hotel is right in the heart of the city. This is where you need to be to see the attractions which you can hop on a train within walking distance. The staff is helpful and courteous.I will defintely stay here again. This is a 4.5 star hotel under the guise of 3 stars.

Great Hotel for your value.Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: They offered free wireless Internet
Cons: That breakfast be included in the price
Location: Close to a main metro hub and rer train. Lots of stores and cafes around you. Couple blocks from the famous Pere Lachaise Cemetery.
First time in Paris, we did know what to expect that rooms are small but cozy. Our hotel had a great location to a main metro hub. It was about a 2 min walk to the metro and rer train station. Lots of stores and cafes close by, got to really immerse yourself with Parisian life. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, most spoke pretty good English and always greeted you. They also offered free wireless internet which was great. Our room was decorated modern and was clean. Since we were here in the summer it was very nice that our room had A/C. A wonderful little bakery was 2 doors down which we enjoyed every day. For not being in the heart of Paris where it is pretty expensive this hotel provided great value, and location to getting to places by the metro. We would stay here again.
