“Stay away if you can.”
Stayed here for several weeks in May, 2011. The Hotel has been renovated, but looks deceive. Expedia says "Guestrooms provide air conditioning"... absolutely untrue! The room had a window opening onto a dirty, smelly courtyard. There is no wardrobe and only room to hang a few shirts. Drains would plug up. The large bed was comfortable... but that is all the good I can say about this place. The window opened onto a courtyard with a view of other rooms and apartments. Cooking smells, and on one occasion, a powerful solvent odor made it impossible to open the window to get fresh air. Electric would go off from time-to-time. Maid service was awful. Wi-fi required a little slip of paper with the passwords... but sometimes the code would expire when you logged off your computer and you needed another little slip of paper. The staff seemed friendly, but if they make a mistake - don't expect anything from them or the management. The management of this hotel seems that they are in a learning curve as to how a Hotel should be run, and the guests are the test subjects. The neighborhood is a noisy, dirty, dangerous area... but, if you like Indian or Pakistani food, this is the neighborhood to go to. Although, it is a filthy area. In Paris this is the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in... trust me, there are 2 star Hotels that are run better. I could tell you a lot more, but no room on Expedia. You can do a lot better... pass on this one and keep looking. You've been warned!
“Two stars hotel”
This hotel is a two stars hotel (max). Rooms are VERY small. To open my suitcase i had to put it on the bed. Only one person can walk around the room at a time. Entire hotel looks pretty worn. There were stains on carpet and wallpaper in my room but no bed bugs found. The elevator fits two person without luggage. There are no english channels on TV. Neighborhood seems to be shady but is safe even at night. 5 min walk to Gare du Nord and metro is just around the corner. It takes about 40 min to get to Disneyland and about 20 min to CDG. I can recommend this hotel if you 're going to visit Paris and looking for a cheap room to sleep in, only. Otherwise find something else.
