Enjoyable trip, with plenty to see an do. Helpful staff at the hotel, who will print out any online passes you arrange whilst on your trip if you email them to the hotel. Would recommend visiting the Latin Quarter, good bars and entertainment at night.

The staff was nice and the hotel was in a great hotel close to restaurants, the metro, and the Eiffel Tower. The room was clean, but not too spacious.

Good value hotel, really convenient for metro

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: good location for sightseeing and good value
Cons: Room was fine and well equipped but the paintwork could have benefitted from redecoration
Location: Close to Trocadero, Eiffel tower, Museum of modern art
This was a good hotel very well located for Trocadero and Eiffel Tower, and just a stones throw from a metro station. The staff could not have been more helpful. Some good cafes nearby and an excellent Italian restaurant next door

Handy for Arc & Eiffel tower!!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Location (west Paris) near metro, comfortable, decent rooms & helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing all good
Location: arc 'de trop, Eiffel tower, Bosierre Metro
Short stroll from Bossiere' Metro station, in quiet backstreet off Kleber boulevard. Coffee shops & restaurants close by. Nice hotel with helpful staff, with lovely leafy courtyard for evening drinks.

Quiet, safe, convenient location

Posted Apr 21, 2015
I've stayed here several times on business and it hasn't changed much. Our flight from Seattle was nine hours and traversed nine time zones. It landed before 8 AM and we had zero sleep. We arrived at the hotel at about 10 AM and described our plight. I requested a 'chambre calme qui donne sur la cour'. I expected to have to await check in time. But, room 229 was made available to us. It was perfect. The buffet breakfasts are excellent. The staff is friendly and courteous. It is a short walk to the metro. The streets are safe. Ideal for our purposes. Younger people might prefer the more active scenes on the left bank.

Great Staff, Nice older Hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Interior court yard, friendly staff, location, breakfast, clean rooms, free WiFi.
Cons: Shower plumbing, toilet location, fountain.
Location: 2 blocks from the Tracedero, metro, a nice walk to the Arc de Triumph. Lots of cafes to have lunch or dinner, drinks. Good bars / restaurants nearby
Spent 5 days at this hotel in April 2015. Location is close to Metro and sights. The interior courtyard provides a quiet retreat for breakfast and after-tourist walk-a-thons. The room was nicely equipped - you will need a voltage converter to recharge your electronics which I had. Great instant coffee and hot water heater in the room. The bathroom was modern, but plagued with typical Parisian infrastructure problems. The shower hot water was great in the morning but tepid in the afternoon. The valve to the shower head didn't push all the water which made the hand unit useless. The tub was deep and great for baths, but slippery for a shower, and there were no hand-holds. The toilet was in a tight spot with less than a foot of distance between it and the wall. Overall very clean, and pleasant room (mine was 550). Bird songs would wake me at 6:30am which was very pleasant, so I kept my window open most of the time. The staff were very friendly, readily spoke English and did everything possible to make the stay pleasant. The morning breakfast was very good, something I miss today. The interior court yard needs some TLC but the plants were beautiful and the tables and ashtrays kept clean. It would have been nice to see the fountain running.
