Convenient excellence.Posted Dec 4, 2013
What else can I say? I have fallen in love with Paris, and Hotel Georgette was a big part of that! If you want a modern hotel in the middle of everything, this is your place. I selected Hotel Georgette based on consistent 5 star reviews for satisfaction. Sebastian was repeatedly praised for his helpful nature and guess who was there to check us in?! He and the hotel were everything promised and more. If you want a petite but immaculate room with an amazing shower and artistic decor, this is your place. It was warm, cozy and quiet, with all floors accessible by elevator or stairs. There are two grocery stores and a metro station on the block, and The Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame, and the Louvre are minutes away by foot, (not to mention a slew of gay bars and cafés). Do yourself a big favor and book a room at this treasure in a very special part of Paris!

Hotel GeorgettePosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Good location. Helpful staff.
Location: Located by restaurants, shopping, bakeries, grocery store and sightseeing
This is a tiny little boutique hotel (19 rooms) in the Marais area. They had many restaurants and shops across the street. I definitely visited the bakery around the corner too many times. We walked to many of the famous sights. They have air conditioning in every room, queen size beds and great showers. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. A block from the Pompidou Center We stayed for 4 nights and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Great location.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Location, very clean.
Cons: In reality, not much.
Location: Great just to wonder around the streets.
Very modern, very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful. Rooms very small, however most hotel rooms in Paris are small. Breakfast appeared small but plenty of cafes to chose from. Location is perfect for touring and sight seeing. I recomend this hotel if you want a city break.

Funky Parisienne hotel.Posted Oct 13, 2013
Location: The sights are obvious - and if you like walking, well within distance. Don't miss d'Orsay Museum but to feel a bit French visit Le Tambour.
This is a great hotel! Well placed for walking everywhere, we loved living in this 21st century update of real France. It had everything we wanted or needed. Happening yet quiet, we were made so welcome without being overwhelmed. The art is wonderful but take the stairs too to feel that you are part of a long history - it's what France - particularly Paris - is all about! We'll definitely be back.

Great Boutique Hotel in a perfect locationPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: The staff were really friendly and the location was great
Cons: The breakfast was a little sad but there wasn't much space for them to do it!
Location: Louvre, lots of things!
We went to Paris to see friends so we wanted to stay near them. From looking around this had very good reviews for the area. What also appealed was that it was very easy to get to from the Gare du Nord and between two metro lines. The area makes it very easy to walk to a lot of the sites. The hotel was set back of the main road though next to bar be we didn't hear much noise whilst we were staying there. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful, we'd forgotten our adaptors and they had some we could use to charge phones etc. The hotel is small and quirky, the rooms are small but they lay it out well and in all honesty how much time do you spend in the room? The shower was great! The breakfast was €9 for juice, hot drink and a croissant, and €14 for more food. We were down late so to me it looked a little sad but there are cafes just round the corner if you want to go out for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back.

So French, So Marais, So So ParisPosted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: See above - the location, the people working there, the honor bar, the room design and comfort factor, the shower.
Cons: The controls for the AC/heating were difficult. A pull for the drapes would have made closing and opening them easier. A little in-room mood lighting.
Location: Marias, Marais, Marais - bars, restaurants, gay life, Pompidou, Les Halles - convenient Metro stops to go anywhere in Paris.
This was my first stay at the Georgette; I chose it primarily based on location - I wanted the Marais - and secondarily on the strength of the existing reviews. What can I add - they were right, I was super pleased, and my four nights were a total pleasure. Would I nit a bit? Of course I would - the nine euro breakfast seemed a tad skimpy. So I walked the two blocks to the Starbucks - beware they open at 8, not 5:30 like the States - and had decent coffee (come on, folks, French coffee is awful) and a yogurt. Second nit, and this is a matter of taste not a reason for de-selecting the hotel: who chose the floors in the lobby? What were they thinking? About that lobby, one rainy evening I chose not to go out and instead made use of the honor bar to have my wine and e-book while sitting in the glassed-in area. So nice with the rain on the glass roof, the reflecting lights on the wet streets, and the soppy people who walked past wishing they hadn't chosen to go out! The rooms are nice; let's skip the small size discussion - rooms are small everywhere in new hotels now, or at least everywhere you really want to visit. But they are well designed. The shower was super good and I loved the lighting in the shower. The folks at the front desk were very very accommodating, and there 24 hours a day. The location is close to two different Metro lines. Pompidou is one block away. The Marais is all around you. Choose the Georgette and you will not be disappointed.

Chic and comfortable in central locationPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved the hotel. Staff was excellent. Room was spotless. We especially loved the lighting in the bathroom and the shower was heavenly. Some things that could use improvement- the room was small but that's to be expected in Paris. But perhaps one or two hangers or a small nightstand on either side of the bed (there was only one on one side) would have been nicer. Other than that, no complaints.
