The hotel was very pretty, Modern, and close to public transportation which was a very big pro. Con here was, they called me a week before my reservation to let me know there were “technical problems” with the room I had originally booked (standard triple) and had to move me to the executive double which offered a view of the Eiffel Tower. They definitely sold it as an upgrade but the room was tiny and the view was literally just the top of the Eiffel Tower. We admired the view maybe once or twice, other than that the curtains were drawn the majority of the time because the room faced apartment balconies so we almost never were able to have the curtains open if we didn’t want to allow people to look into our room. We also were out and about every day, so we didn’t care about the view.
For the inconvenience of having my room changed at the last minute I had asked the hotel if they could throw in free breakfast as a consolation and they said no because I now had Eiffel Tower view and that was consolation enough…
Overall it’s an aesthetically pleasing hotel - but the rooms are tiny and the staff isn’t too friendly (really only the woman who checked us in - I didn’t catch her name but she had red hair and spoke Spanish - was nice and welcoming). Don’t think I’d stay again.
