City centre and convenient for Gare du Nord

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and it's good having the kettle and refreshments.
Cons: Double glazing? Biscuits with the refreshments? Another chair?
Location: Busy, noisy place. Get the metro and go south.
Overall a pleasant experience but it's definitely not quiet at night. It's a bit weird having a window from the shower looking into the room!

Heel charmant hotel.

Personeel heel vriendelijk. En locatie goed gelegen pal aan noord-station.

Very good hotel

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Gare du Nord. Modern. Variety of eating nearby, particularly in front of station across the road.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Not the best location, with sex shops and crowds of drinkers at night which might be intimidating for some. Very convenient for metro and RER trains.
Very convenient from the Gare du Nord. Take the Rue de Dunkerque exit and turn left - you can see the hotel sign. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and hotel very up to date - good free wifi and a room safe, good fittings, key accessed lift. Room a bit small but ok. Disappointing breakfast, not worth the money. Plenty of options outside in Paris.

Gutes Stadthotel

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Lage

Pleasant surprise close to Gare Du Nord

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Hotel Hor was a nice, quiet, clean, modern boutique hotel with pleasant staff. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. It was over the road from Gare Du Nord which was convenient given we were catching the Eurostar the following morning. Being next to a major railway station attracts a few unsavoury characters that made me feel a little uncomfortable when leaving the hotel but there were no issues. A good value for money hotel.

Lovely safe hotel close to station. Quiet & clean.

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Clean, safe close to station & eateries, very helpful friendly desk staff.
Cons: Consider provision of meals (even light option) in case people cant go out for any reason (eg sickness, poor mobility etc) & need to have something.
Location: Tourist attractions aren't on the door step. About 20 mins metro ride away. Used open tour bus to see all the popular premier sights. Safe strolling.
The hotel is a stones throw from Gare du Nord so easy access in and out for Eurostar. Staff are very helpful. They helped us find our choice of restaurants & tours. Restaurants were within 5-8 mins safe walking distance from the hotel. The area is strewn with a myriad of Bistros so you have a good choice of eating options. One of the open top tour bus stops is just outside Gare du Nord. The metro can be taken from Gare du Nord . The room we stayed in overlooked the courtyard away from the street. Very quite (sound proof). The room was clean with sufficient space for 2 weekend cases. Wardrobe space is meager. The bathroom had a fabulous walk in shower. Breakfast was not included but available. Good internet access, decor, heating/air conditioning. Looked lie it was newly renovated or well maintained. Clean towels and bedding. Very comfortable bed. Excellent experience and would stay there again and again unless I wanted a hotel that provides in-house catering (just in case you are unable to go out to eat for any reason). Tea & coffee-making facilities were great along with a very mini fridge to store small items. Gym is a treadmill & bike in a small room but an added bonus at no extra cost for those who workout as a lifestyle and have to incorporate fitness into their daily routine. Thank you Hotel Hor for making our first trip to Paris a joy and such a memorable occasion. We saw a family (with 2 boys in early teens) so ok for families though room size might be a squeeze.

Good and reasonable hotel

Great location across the metro entrance (with many lines available), clean and nice staff but it is important to mention that in the 10eme arr there are many imigrants which could make you feel uncomfortable sometimes, it is busy and loud...

Verkehrsgünstige Lage

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Zentrale Lage; Sauberkeit + Neuwertigkeit; Wasserkocher + Tassen inkl.
