“Pleasantly surprised”

We just got back from a trip to Paris, and we stayed at the Kyriad Bercy. I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location is great--far enough from the tourist areas that the prices are lower and you are not constantly bombarded with touristy gimmicks. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro stop on Line 14, which will take you directly to the heart of Paris in about 10 minutes (you can connect to practically any metro line at the Chatelet-Les Halles station). The room was small but had all the amenities that an "american" hotel would have. The room had a tv, phone, electric teapot with instant coffee, tea, and little biscuits, a balcony, a private bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable, although low to the ground, and the room came with an extra pillow and blanket. Our room was cleaned every day and stocked with fresh towels. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful, and had no problems with speaking English when asked nicely. The hotel breakfast was awesome. There is a market on the same street, just a minute walk from the hotel; also, adjacent to Bercy village is a little deli that sells Paninis and really awesome pizza! The only downfall to this hotel that I could see is that there is a school very close by, and during the day if you have your patio doors open, the sounds from the playground are loud. We would definitely stay here again though, we had a wonderful experience.

“Wonderful staff”

The staff at this hotel was fantastic!!!! That said, we had been warned that the rooms were small, and ours was - but - it was fine = quiet and clean. The bed was OK; the shower was great. We were on vacation and had no intention of spending long hours in a hotel room anyway!!! The hotel is conveniently located. It is very close to the metro and to a local park and to a mall with interesting shops, restaurants etc. It was right next to a wonderful weekend market which took in a couple of blocks of booths with food, gifts, etc as well as entertainment and lovely people. The area was fine, safe; we are a middle-aged couple and we were in and out at very late hours. We speak almost no French but had no trouble with the metro system and much of what we hoped to see was only about 15 minutes away by train. The hotel staff basically spoke English and went out of their way to be helpful, offer directions, suggestions, etc. This hotel is a wonderful choice for folks on a budget who hope to get a good bargain at a reasonable price. We will definitely return.

“Great Neighborhood”

Hotel was very easy to find from the metro station and very close. Nice if you have been lugging luggage all over Paris from CDG etc. Nice little neighborhood less touristy and still convenient to everything.

“Great stay, Good price”

I flew from Boston to Paris for a weekend vacation. I was concerned with booking a hotel in another country, but was pleasently surprised when I got there. Clean and comfortable at a good price. Very close to metro stop for easy sightseeing. Bercy village restaurants, shops and movie theatre just down the street. would definately stay again!

“Great Deal”

This neighborhood was not the best but we felt safe and did not have to walk far for the metro. I would stay there again.

“Bercy Village makes it great”

I was very happy with the hotel and location. Walk up from the Metro and make a left. The hotel is 200 yards down the street. The location is 5-8 minutes away from the city by metro. There is a grocery store and good restaurants in Bercy Village. I thought the Sushi place was as good as I've had. Breakfast was typical. The TV only had CNN in english. Bathroom was small but great shower. The free Internet was spotty but I only had an Iphone so it may have been me. I wish I had brought an IPAD for movies.

“Much more than expected!”

Clean and friendly. Close and easy access to the underground. The only down side to this hotel is the size of the showers and room, they are small.

“Kyriad Paris Bercy Village is OK”

We had 3 travelers in 1 small room with 3 single beds. The room was very small, but we managed to get around it ok. They were working on the air conditioning,so no AC in the room but we opened the window and had a small fan which made it comfortable. We did not spend much time in the room since there is so much to see in Paris. The desk personnel were helpful and spoke some English. We loved the location, only 2 blocks from the metro station. The Bercy village is only 2 blocks away and we enjoyed the shops and restaurants there. For the price it is a good hotel to stay in if you are out sight seeing all day
