Nice hotel, great location for the castle oflesPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The large room with more than 1 bathroom and the breakfast
Location: Chateau de Versailles
We had the appartment, which can accommodate up to 6 people, with 3 bathrooms. Lovely room, lovely staff and great European breakfast (no cooked breakfast), the croissants and pains au chocolat were particularly good. The room was over a courtyard, so very quiet. Easy walking distance to castle and to train station. We will be staying there again.

Good location,Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Very nice breakfast, good location.
Rooms somewhat dark and stuffy. In the middle of a renovation. I expected more from a 3 star hotel.

Best hotel in VersaillesPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: We especially loved the breakfast- much nicer than any other we have had in France so far-unusual fruits, some nice meats and cheeses, etc.
Cons: I dont think anything could be improved.
Location: Perfect location for castle and we could have done other things but too tired from castle experience
We loved this hotel, the staff was very accommodating, rooms clean and comfortable. The location is great - only a few blocks from the castle.

It was adequate: it was reasonably close to the palace, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was acceptable.

Very helpful staff; lovely breakfast.Posted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Staff; cleanliness and decor of room, breakfast.
Location: Easy access to train station to Paris.
One problem for an August stay: when we arrived, I asked for a restaurant recommendation and was told that most resaurants are closed because the owners go on vacation in August. Despite the lovely hotel, the area was totally "dead" unless you are at the Chateau Versailles.

Well positioned in Versailles.Posted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
A privately run hotel that could make more of its historic building. Well positioned to visit the palace, the cathedral and the Kings Garden. Staff were helpful the room was clean and the facilities good. Disappointing that they had chosen to style the room like an Ibis or similar with Formica surfaces and no drawers. There is a good restaurant opposite. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. Parking was in an underground park and expensive at 40 euros for the 2 days

We pick the last room and we had a pleasant night to an early visit to Versailes Palace and gardens.

Fine for a short stayPosted Jul 13, 2013
Cons: evening staff
Location: 5 mins walk from Versailles Palace
The room was quite small but not unexpected in an old building. Reception were very helpful but the evening staff not so good - everything seemed to be an effort and we were unable to get a drink in the bar after 10.00pm. Breakfast was average. Location excellent for visiting the palace and parking was no problem either on a meter outside the hotel or underground a short walk away. Plenty of good restaurants in the area.
