Not good experiencePosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was incredibly small. The restroom was okay. One of the hotel receptionist was extremely terse and rude. We asked him to call a taxi. He did not do that. When we asked him why, he just said "I saw you asking other taxis, so I'm not going to call one". He was rude in his behavior and was not helpful. I had to request again and again to stop fighting and eventually he called one, but it made us late for our appointment. There was a different receptionist at a later point of time, she was really good and well-behaved.

DisappointingPosted Aug 27, 2013
Hotel is in a good location, especially for the price, but the room was tiny and bed sheets were not changed overnight...disappointing

Hellish HotelPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The nice things first, the bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located between 2 good metro stops for site seeing. Now the bad, the neighborhood is very questionable, we lost power daily multiple times, bring only iron-free clothing as there is only 1 iron shared by all guests at the hotel and no board, the night attendant shamelessly sleeps in the job regularly so don't expect him t I be the first line of defense or any assistance, the stairwell is always dark and the rooms are extremely small even by European standards so are the showers. The rooms are infested with worm like bugs that move really fast under the floorboards, so don't put your luggage or clothing articles on the floor, store them in the wardrobe or on the luggage rack.

A bit mixed on the hotel. The staff were great, the room was fine. Free wifi, most staff spoke English and were friendly. I just wish it was in a little nicer of an area. The metro station right outside the door is closed for refurbishment. So you have to walk a ways to the Stalingrad station (aka pick-pocket central!) it's great for the price, just hide your goodies. It was a 25-30min metro ride to anywhere we wanted to go and a block from the canal which was busy in the morning's with joggers and morning strollers. A bit noisey at night though. The hotel seems well maintained and had a small elevator.

Acceptable hotel, far from tourist sitesPosted Jun 17, 2013
Cons: Cleanliness of stairwells
Location: Not much in the area for tourism for foreigners. Close to Parc de la Villette, though.
Staff fairly helpful. Hotel is right above the subway line so you will hear it and feel it every few minutes. I used the Sound Machine application on my phone and wound up doing fine sleeping. Small lobby and dingy stairwell but rooms are fine.

Weekend getawayPosted Apr 14, 2013
Pros: Close to Metro and prompt cleaning of our rooms.
Cons: Wifi was a little hard to figure out , password and login ... but go it to work. Rooms were a little small
Location: Not too bad for price you pay. Area is safe.
Distance to downtown is a little off but price range and conform and cleaniness was very good. Staff was friendly.

Nice for the price..........Posted Apr 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
........this hotel is in a very Urban Parisian neighborhood, very accessible by Metro but not for everyone, but the price is great. We had a bedside lightbulb out in our room and it was a bit of a trial to get it replaced.........the room was a bit small to contain our luggage as we were at the beginning of a one month trip.......loved the colors the rooms were painted, usually budget hotels are drab and uninviting but not this one.
