Le Mareuil Hotel

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Small, quiet boutique hotel.
Cons: Speedier lift to floors - was rather slow
Location: Close to Place de Republique, great little French bistros within walking distance Saint Martin Canal close by
Located in a quiet street but within the main area around Republique. Ideal for access to the Metro network and variety of restaurants, staff helpful and give useful advice and very friendly. Rooms spotless and well maintained. Breakfast ample and always replenished. Close to Ave de Republique and Saint Martin Canal. Can recommend French bistros: Le Chemise, Pharmacie and Astier for traditional French fayre plus Italian Pizza Pino for excellent homemade pasta and pizza

Friendly staff who speak good English. Although in quiet location, only few 100m from busy square with access to metro and walking distance on many bars and restaurants. Very comfortable and clean in rooms and throughout hotel. Fire alarm very effective too when other guests ignoe no smoking policy.

Wonderful place to stay!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: We loved the location, the intimate feeling of the hotel and the kindness and helpfulness of the hotel staff.
Location: The area was quiet, but very close to the Republique station. Cafes and restaurants are plentiful, as well as a great little grocery store.
Sohrab and Berg helped to make our Paris adventure most memorable! They were so kind and helpful as we planned our days. The hotel location made it easy to take the metro to any part of the city, and the surrounding area was quiet, but also with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Cute boutique hotel close to metro

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Very convenient with 2 metro stops barely a block away Republique and Oberkampf. Quiet neighborhood with very friendly staff. Bolangerie closeby along with several restaurants. I would certainly stay here again and refer it to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to rest after a busy day

NIce,small hotel on a side street in the 3rd Arr. Tiny rooms, clean and comfortable, with updated bathrooms. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was pricey, but there are adequate cafes, boulangeries and restaurants within walking distance.
