Excellent location, even better staffPosted Apr 27, 2015
This boutique hotel is small by US standards but don't let that deter you. It's just about perfect for a traveller looking for a more authentic, French experience, and the only thing better than its location and view of Notre Dame is the staff. Specifically we bonded with Simona, who spoke excellent English, tolerated my horrible French, and made sure we enjoyed each and every day in France. If I had a complaint, it would be that the showers were a little tight, but the spacious and comfy mattress more than compensated.

Quality and value in the best locationPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: I like just about everything about this hotel.
Cons: In this hotel, like in many other places in Paris, you have to take a shower sitting in the bathtub. I wish there were a shower with a curtain...
Location: The location is the most central in Paris: walking distance to most tourist attractions and a metro/RER station nearby.
This is the most central location in Paris, and one might expect that the quality might suffer. However, this hotel provides real quality. Yes, the rooms are small, but rooms are small everywhere in Paris. The design is highly original. The room and bathroom furnishings, beds, linens, etc. are of high quality. The attention to detail is apparent. The service is great, and the staff is very helpful in everything, from restaurant recommendations and reservations to all other issues. The breakfast (standards French) is of higher quality and value than in restaurants in the area (trust me on that - we speak from experience).

Stylish, comfortable hotel next to Notre DamePosted Apr 21, 2015
Fast check-in. Was given an amazing view of Notre Dame. Quite room even though our windows were on the street, VERY very clean room, bathroom and bed. Comfortable bed with great sheets.

wonderful locationPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly helpful staff, and cleanliness. Rooms are small but comfortable with stunning views of Notre Dame.
Cons: A bigger lift would be helpful but that would be impractical.
Location: Location is the high point! Notre Dame, the Louvre, St Severain, Boulevards St Michel and St Germain , Cafe de Flore and Les Deux Magouts are close.
Hotel is comfortable, wonderful location next to Notre Dame and St Michel Metro and RER station. Easy access to so many attractions. St Michel on direct line from CDG Airport. Excellent restaurants within 5 min walk. Boulevards St Germain and St Michel are adjacent. A

Hotel in ParisPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: It is located just across the Saint Michel Notre Dame station. We had a nice view of Notre Dame and La Seine River.
Cons: The hotel is not handicap friendly. One needs to walk up about 20 steps of stairs to get to the reception.
Location: Great location, just opposite St Michel Notre Dame station, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as street stalls along La Seine river.
The hotel is located near the Notre Dame. We took a walk along the La Seine river, passed the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden, Concorde, enter the busy av. des Champs Elysees. After some shopping, we went to Arc de Triomphe, followed by Eiffel tower before heading back to the hotel. Overall journey took us about 4 hours. It was a very interesting walk.

Great location...sort ofPosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Unique character. Perfect location.
Cons: Very little closet space, but expected for old buildings.
Location: Dead in the heart of Paris, so everything is close.
Unique and fun hotel décor. Fantastic location with views of Notre Dame and metro and RER stations very close. Very close to lots of restaurants, but the surrounding area is also a big tourist trap, so some effort is required to separate the genuinely good restaurants from those trying to pull tourists in any way they can. It is a very busy area and the hotel is located at a busy intersection with constant traffic, sirens, shouting drunk tourists, and horn honking. If staying at this hotel, definitely use ear plugs when sleeping. It made all the difference between a great stay and no sleep.

In the Latin Quarter, across Seine from Notre DamePosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: In Latin Quarter, Can take RER-b to and from CDG airport for 10 Euro and faster than taxi or hired car. St. Michel stop is directly in front of hotel
Cons: Look for sign "Hotel Notre Dame" Saint Michel is not signed anywhere.
Location: Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Louve, Musee d'Orsey, river cruises, Metro stop, all within 2-5 minute walk
Excellent and pleasant staff. Made reservations and arranged transportation for evening entertainment. Confirmed and printed departure airline tickets. Clean room which appeared to have been recently renovated. The entrance is at street level with steps leading up to reception desk, it's easy to walk past. You can get a continental breakfast in your room for the same price as on the street. Had a small 2nd floor bar overlooking Notre Dame, which appeared to serve 24hours. You can hear loud talking in adjacent rooms ( which should be expected). We heard a newly wed argument that proved to be very entertaining. We would stay at this hotel again.
