Outstanding HotelPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: The staff, the balcony, the bed, the view
Cons: Nothing, it was excellent.
Location: The location was outstanding, within easy reach of the rest of Paris.
I decided to book a trip to Paris with my Fianceé, and booked this hotel as a surprise for her. We had a second floor balcony and were very pleased with the room we were given. The staff were very helpful, and when the lock on our door broke as locks sometimes do, we were offered a superior room with a king sized bed as an apology. I was very impressed with both the staff and the location of the hotel, close to not one but two metro stations that made travel around Paris incredibly simple and easy. I thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Pleasasnt stay, would recommend and stay again.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Excellent location as the hotel is within minutes of several metro stations. Plently of cafes, bakeries and shopping within walking distance. Staff were friendly and available at the front desk 24/7. One odd thing about the hotel is that they require you to leave your room key at the front desk whenever you leave the hotel, I've never encountered that request so did find it odd and made me feel a bit hesitant about leaving valuables in the room (happy to report that all valuables were there and in good order throughout the whole stay). Hotel in general was clean and tidy. I had booked a single room and was surprised at the comfort level and 'spaciousness' of the room, I had expected a shoebox and was pleasantly surprised. Walls were paper thin however so you can hear just about everything in the hallway and the rooms next door so be aware if you are a light sleeper. Good value for money given the location, condition of the room and hotel.

Excellent locationPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The location and breakfast. Staff were helpful too.
Cons: The décor could do with updating
Location: Excellent location. Within walking distance of a lot of attractions and right next to the metro
The hotel has an excellent location but wasn't the most comfortable. We were on the balcony side which was a little too loud and bright.

Promoted as upscale modern hotel. This place was a dump . They gave our reserved room to someone else even though we arrived early and they noted our arrival. Then the room they gave us instead was a smoking room even though we specified non-smoking. I had to complain that my daughter has asthma and I paid for a non -smoking room and it was unacceptable. The third room at least didn't smell of smoke but it was so small you could barely turn around and was not the sleek, modern hotel that was promoted. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.

Perfect positionPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Room, staff,breakfast---
Location: Tree lined avenue, excellent pizza restaurant very nearby and others but did not have time to sample them.
It was recommended by our French neighbour and proved to be perfect for our 2 night stay. Easy walking/strolling distance to parks, alleyways, canals etc. staff were very friendly and helpful so all in all we would definitely go back

Nice hotel close to a couple of metro stopsPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, facilities
Location: Close to Temple and Republique metro stops, there's a delicious patisserie down the road and a pharmacy too. Cafes & restaurants are around too.
This is a lovely hotel close to Temple and Republique metro stops, there's a delicious patisserie down the road and a pharmacy too. I arrived after midnight but concierge was there to unlock the door and let me in. Check in done in quick time and the facilities are adequate. The staff are friendly and they have a loan laptop to use with the free wi-fi. The room is nice and comfortable and the shower was reasonably large compared to that in Rome and London so I really appreciated that extra space from the cramped spaces of the other cities.

Ticks the box on a budgetPosted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is well located about 100m from Temple Metro and only a five min walk from Republique Metro, so 15 mins from Louvre/Notre Dame. Our room was pretty small but generally clean with what you would expect from a 2* hotel. Recommend asking for room at rear as pretty noisy from road. Free Wi-Fi which worked well. Shampoo but no conditioner, clean towels daily. No safe though. Would stay again if on budget/short trip.

An excellent pied-a-terre in ParisPosted May 23, 2014
Welcoming and newly-refurbished, this hotel was an ideal place to stay for a short break (4 nights), being located 1-2 mins from the Republique Metro station and approx. 20 mins walk from Notre Dame. Couldn't fault the breakfast buffet at 10 Euros and with brasseries, bars and cash points nearby, what more could you want?

Great PlacePosted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a perfectly located hotel in many ways. There are plenty of eating options (including vegetarian), there is a convenience store where one can buy stuff at reasonable prices, and there are three metro stops within walking distance. We had the leisure of having a room facing the street which allowed us to open the window and enjoy the view. Not sure how the interior experience would be.The Breakfast at 10 euros is worth it - it's easy, plenty, and always available.
