Couldn't ask for more.Posted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Fantastic from almost every point of view. Easily accessible by train from the airport - change trains once and quite easy to manage. Train stop is right outside the hotel. Every shop, bar and cafe you need is within a two minute walk, including supermarket, chemist and bakery. Room was very clean and comfortable with a fridge and all the basics available. Wifi was offered without asking and worked perfectly (free). Amazing location with the tower only a few minutes away. The staff were ok, just not as welcoming as you might like, but helpful enough. Overall, a great place to stay in comfort and with a view to saving valuable time whilst visiting a wonderful city. Highly recommended.

Clean Hotel in a Great NeighborhoodPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very pleased with the hotel and its location, and would return. The clean and comfortable rooms are small, as is common in Europe. The bathroom had a great shower, but no tub. The rooms are air-conditioned with adjustable thermostats. We did not try the breakfast, as many nearby bars and brasseries serve breakfast, and we enjoyed the typical French fare of coffee, orange juice, a croissant, and a split baguette with butter and comfiture (jam). The baguettes are amazing in Paris! The cheerful neighborhood has lots of pedestrian traffic, including moms with strollers, business people on the way to or from work, couples of all ages, and women on their daily grocery shopping trips. Parisians will, if possible, sit with everyone facing the sidewalk and they chat as they watch people walk by. These places also serve lunch and dinner, and for a reasonable price, you can have dishes such as duck or lamb or some of the best roast chicken you have ever eaten. About four blocks East of the hotel is the Avenue de la Motte Picquet, which also has bars, brasseries, and some proper restaurants. The hotel is directly across the street from a Metro station. It is about a kilometer to the Eiffel Tower and two miles to the Orsay. Other locations (Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Coeur Cathedral) need a Metro ride or cab. Wednesdays there is a large and interesting outdoor market which stretches for several blocks, starting directly across the street from the hotel.

Good location, nice staffPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel, while right next to the Dupleix metro station, was very well insulated with respect to sound. The only sounds were those of other people entering their rooms from the hall. Room was clean, though the tub could have been shined (clean enough for showering but not soaking in a hot bath). Staff were very nice. Beds were a bit hard.

Great place, great location, great hospitality...Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had an incredible stay here as the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and graciously honored our requests for additional bath items. The room was a bit small, but we definitely didn't mind (if room size is an issue, I'd opt for one of the more expensive rooms). The location was completely convenient with metro stops just a few steps away, and markets around the corner. All in all, we must say that we have nothing but good things to say about Hôtel Le Relais Saint Charles.

Warm welcome and a wonderful stay!Posted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is right opposite the Metro and about 10 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower. Lots of great bistros and restaurants nearby. Also close to supermarket and laundry. Wednesday and Sunday brought out the fantastic produce markets under the metro - fantastique! Lovely room with comfy beds, clean modern bathroom and fridge - very handy for that bottle of champagne!

Nice Accommodations Close to TransportationPosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice smaller hotel right across the street from the Metro. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. The hairdryer, sample size shampoo, body wash, shower cap, sewing kit, shoe shine sponge, nail file were a nice touch. Most of the hotel staff were quite pleasant and very helpful. The hotel stored our luggage at checkout so we could enjoy our last day in Paris. Many bistros, bakeries and other shops in the area. We particularly enjoyed Bistro Dupleix. Hotel is walking distance to the Eiffel Tour. A pleasant surprise was a street market on Sunday morning directly across from the hotel. Street seemed safe and the location was great.

Excellent locationPosted Jun 1, 2013
This hotel is in an excellent location right across from the Metro and the outdoor market (two days a week). The multilingual staff was just great. The room is small but clean and functional and the bathroom is very good. We would stay there again.
