We specifically booked this room for the AC but when we got there the AC wasn't working. It looked like it was already a problem for a while since there was two fans conveniently in the room and we wished they would have given us a heads up. Additionally, the cups in the room seemed like it wasn't fully cleaned and the wifi was very poor.

Did the job for the night, but dirty cleanliness and inconvenient/uncomfortable location. Use the metro saved the trip. Also the fire alarms went off early in the morning which was inconvenient.

All was just great except the room temperature. All 3 of us had a try to adjust the temp to a comfortable sleeping temperature but we were unsuccessful at lowering it from 26.5 degrees celcius. As a result, we had to try to sleep with the window open. Paris was alive that night!

No AC in 95f or 37c
I arrived at the hotel and asked to get a room with air conditioning with the agent said it works. The elevator was only working from the other end of the second floor wich made my stay really uncomfortable. I was barely able to go to sleep in such heat. If the the hotel doesn't have AC they can say it up front so ppl can make other arrangements.

Nice hotel with some exceptions
This hotel is really nice, especially for the price. The location is a little out of the way, but there’s great access to the train. Don’t expect any views from your window. My main problem was the service was uneven. I asked for coffee in my room repeatedly and never got it except once. This forced me to pay the astounding 12 euros (more expensive than a breakfast out ) for a very mediocre continental breakfast. On one of those days when I had no option but to have the hotel breakfast, I came down an hour (AN HOUR!) before the breakfast was over and they were out of eggs, fruit and bread and quickly ran out of coffee. I was simply told those things were gone and no more was brought out. This is completely unacceptable considering the cost. Even if that weren’t the case 12 euros is way too much to charge.

Off the beaten path, but nice and works!
Had a great time! Great Free Breakfast and nice staff. The location is a little off the beaten path but taking the Metro 15-20 minutes to all big tourist destinations works fine. The room was small but worked fine. Nice to have AC and a safe. Hotel seemed very newly remodeled and fresh!

Good hotel but with problems
The hotel has good decor and generally very good looking with all your needs but there are some problems we encountered. The sewage smell would enter the room when using the bathroom ventilation fan which turns on automatically when using the light switch, not nice at all. The service wasn't great, we were never told anything about the hotel, the area, local amenities etc. There was a guest info book in the hotel room though. The area isn't great for family, lots of drunks nearby, with terrible takeaway food outlets which you should avoid at all costs. Not family friendly at all.

Great stay!
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and were very happy with it. The breakfast was very good, the room had everything you need, even a dryer for clothes. Would stay again in this hotel.

The first night we arrived, I witnessed a homeless man urinating in broad daylight just yards from the hotel entrance. He wasn’t even making a minimal effort to conceal himself. An hour later I was using a laundrymat about 400 feet from the hotel, when I witnessed an angry drunk throwing a full beer can at a guy. This left me with an unfavorable first-impression of the neighborhood (which would soon change somewhat). There were a fair number of homeless and immigrants, and I have to be completely honest, I wasn’t sure how safe the neighborhood was (for context, I spent a lot of time in seedy neighborhoods like Boston’s Combat Zone, and have traveled to France previously, as well as Honduras and some third-world nations... so I’m typically fairly hung-ho.) THAT SAID, I honestly think that the first impression was unfair. I ultimately spent a week there and had no further issues. As I got to know the neighgood and the people, I had some very good interactions with them which changed my perspective entirely. I think I just had bad luck that first night. As for the hotel, it was excellent. It had air conditioning and a mini-bar, and was very clean and spacious. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful, even to an American with virtually no French vocabulary beyond thank you and hello. The neighborhood had a few restaurants, markets, pharmacy, and laundry options nearby.

Four-day staying, no AC whatsoever. We paid for the price to wish for a more comfortable lodging, yet, we had to endure through 4 days of staying; sleeping sweating at night, and kept on doing cold shower during the day. the Staff said: You can cancel because you didn't book the room with us, so please contact your booking agent",,," you can go, but we no refund no money to you". ha,,,they don't even have an ice maker,,,stingy hotel, doesn't deserve a name of 3-star hotel. We were hoping a nice comfortable 4-day trip, but it turned out we felt like being defrauded. I demand a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was ok
The hotel is really nice, the room is spacious and comfortable, the area is not so nice for public transportation is a 12-15 min walk to the subway in a sometimes sketchy part of town. The breakfast was nice. We arrived early and wanted to rest and the check in wasn't until 3 so we had to pay like 47 euros to check in early (not that cool in my book).

Really Nice
It was a great experience. The people at the front desk were great as were those who took care of the rooms and breakfast. The rooms were clean and quiet, although small. It was a great value and close by the Metro, shopping and food!

Nice hotel, would stay here again.
Overall the hotel is great for a 3 star rated hotel. I experienced a few issues with the room and cleanliness, but the hotel staff did as much as they could to rectify the issues. I like the location, as it is close to China town and Place D'Italie. Downtown Paris is a 15 minute walk and subway ride.

Nearly ideal location, good value
3 minutes from Olympiades Metro stop (route 14), with several restaurants nearby and many more at Cour St. Emilion which is two Metro stops away. Staff was good, room was fine, with modern amenities and standard but good breakfast. The wi-fi was down for 2 days, which did cause some problems but is presumably an isolated case. I will stay there again, as I frequently visit the University of Paris, Diderot, which is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel for the price
Lovely hotel a few minutes walk from Olympiades metro station. Close to lots of lovely bakeries and also Chinatown. The room had everything you needed including tea and coffee facilities and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. Was very pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel for the price we paid. Would definitely stay at Hotel Le Richemont again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

4 days in Paris. This hotel was conveniently located near 2 different train stations. A great bakery and bar / cafe down the street, and a 10 minute walk from a market. Hotel staff was multilingual, friendly, and helpful. Room size was fine. Not big but not small. Limited television selection, but who watches TV when vacationing in Paris? Will definitely be staying at this hotel again if I come back!

5 mins walk to Olympiades metro. Rooms in good condition - clean, strong shower, air-con, comfy beds. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was ample by French standards.

Great Breakfast and The bed was very Comfortable.
The room had everything we needed. The Bed was very nice and comfortable. The only down fall was when we would get back to room at night the room was very stuffy. I don't think they had Air conditioning in the rooms so you had to open the window before bed. The Free continental breakfast was great one of the best I have had. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet didn't hear much noise slept well every night. Once again the bed was very nice to sleep on. The location worked for us, we didn't mind having to jump on a train or two to get somewhere. Overall this was priced great and the breakfast was good and the rooms were very modern and clean. I would stay here again no problem.
