Hope to be returning soon!

Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness, size of room, air conditioning, breakfast.
Cons: A VERY small point..... a more accessable mirror in the bedroom.
Location: Lovely location on a tree lined thoroughfare. Metro nearby and lots of restaurants in walking distance.
From walking into the hotel the overall impression was of comfort and cleanliness. I had read about small rooms in Paris but when I walked into my room I was really impressed. A lovely size with a fabulous large bed, air conditioning that worked and a balcony!! The bathroom was a good size also with a bath and shower. The water was always hot and the room cleaned every day by lovely staff. Although the breakfast is extra it would be hard to find a better breakfast for the money. Eggs two ways, lots of meat, cheese, bread, croissants, yoghurt, fruit salad and various hot and cold drinks. Of course it is unlimited so you can always keep topping up! The reception staff were always friendly and helpful and I really couldn't fault the hotel in any way.... not that I would want to! It was a lovely area and there are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. Also very handy pharmacies, a supermarket and Metro stations. I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly and will defenately be back.

Perfect location

A very nice little boutique hotel, very clean and staff was friendly. Rooms are a little small, the beds are all 190 cm, which for someone tall like me (195cm, 6ft5) is too short - we asked for a room change and we're told that all beds are the same length. Location close to Jardin du Luxembourg is perfect! Such a nice walk in e morning/evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable Hotel

Well situated hotel, close to several Metro stations. Staff polite and helpful. Clean rooms, small, but tidy. No tea/coffee facilities in room, but available from lobby. Lots of restaurants nearby, great food. Main road outside hotel is noisy, but bearable. Overall, good value for money. Recommended.

Le Royal is a nice place for a few nights in Paris, especially convenient to the Montparnasse neighbourhood.

A lovely,quiet and restful hotel.

Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Close enough to the city centre without being in a noisy location
Cons: Small lift - only takes 4 people.
Location: Ideal - close to Vavin mentro ( 300mtrs)
A very pleasant and quiet hotel within easy walking (30 ins) of the Seine. Staff very helpful and responsive to questions and queries; breakfast was plentiful for the size of hotel; rooms clean and tastefully furnished in accord with the locality (very French!). A lovely weekend experience and we'd go back again!

Pros: Cleanliness & friendly staff
Cons: Didn't serve lunch but not a big issue as choice of cafes & restaurants close by
Location: Easily accessible by metro & bus, which is ideal when visiting tourist attractions around the city
Lovely! Friendly staff, clean rooms & clean communal areas. Easily accessible by bus and by metro. Very close to bars, cafes & restaurants. Generally enjoyable & pleasant all round. I will definitely be staying there again.

Great Hotel for a Short Stay

Posted Dec 8, 2012
Pros: Calm friendly atmosphere
Cons: For a long stay the room would prove a little small - for a 3 day stay it was satisfactory
Location: Central to Montparnasse with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity - a 20min walk from Notre Dam.
A small but well kept hotel with a friendly professional staff. Decor and cleanliness were very satisfactory. The room was adequately sized for a 3 day visit but could be considered a little small for a longer stay. Powerful shower and bright airy bathroom. Did not have breakfast in the hotel, but was offered at 12Euro per head. The hotel has a small baggage store behind reception where you can leave your bags whilst you sight-see before travelling home - saves paying 20Euro at Gare Du Nord.

Nice hotel.

Posted Nov 7, 2012
Pros: Location in the Montparnasse district.
Cons: Inadequate heating in the room.
Location: Excellent location.
The heating did not seem to be on in the rooms, and it was cold (69 degrees). The hotel provided a portable heater, but it is not clear why the central heat control did nothing (unless it was simply not on yet). A radiator in the room came on at 6 PM but was inadequate.

I found this hotel very clean, comfortable and well located. The employees at the front desk were very helpful and the included breakfast was delicious. I would go back.
