good hotel in lovely districtPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Pleasant rooms, convenience to central Paris, chic location
Cons: tea & coffee making facilities in room
Location: The area is good for shopping and eating, and isn't far from all the major sites
Our room was small, but quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a pedestrianised street with interesting shops and restaurants in a chic area of Paris

Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms looked to be remodeled not too long ago. Very small in room safe, only one outlet for charging " things" ac worked great. Market was right outside the hotel, close to metro. Small room, but I was there alone. Had an elevator and free wifi. I would stay there again.

A hidden gem!Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: The location was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Like sleeping on a cloud!!
Cons: Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been nice, and a better breakfast - some hot food would be nice (toast at the very least!)
Location: Just 15 or so minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower, this hotel was on a quiet market street. Perfect for watching Parisian life go by.
This hotel was the perfect base for my short trip to Paris (two nights). There was a small hiccup upon arrival - there was some confusion because two rooms had been booked under the same surname (my husband and I were travelling with his parents, so there were two couples with the same surname) so the hotel thought only one room had been booked, but the whole issue was dealt with extremely quickly and very professionally, and an additional room was offered almost instantly. The staff really helped make this hotel - they were always efficient, courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I'm afraid to say no-one in our group spoke very much French so the fact the staff were all fluent in English was very helpful. The rooms were small but had basic amenities - air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, toiletries, en-suite bathroom. There was no hospitality tray (tea/coffee facilities etc) which was a bit of a shame, but with such cheap wine in Paris, who needs tea/coffee anyway!! Breakfast was a smidge on the expensive side for what was offered - it was the smallest, most basic continental breakfast I've ever experienced... no hot food, just cereal (with warm milk), tea/coffee, juice, yoghurt, fruit, and pastries. It was okay, but not great. Overall though, a great little hotel at a very reasonable price, in a good location. I would stay here again. (though my in-laws had a slightly bigger room, though a poorer view, so it all balanced out!)

Very satisfied. The two employees at the front desk were personable and helpful. Felt secure in the neighborhood. Plan to return.

Small but close to everythingPosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
15 minute walk to Effie Tower. Local corner produce market across the alley from hotel for breakfast. McDonald's at end of block if you need your fats.

Hotel jewel in 16thPosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Room not too small and hotel close to metro and fresh market produce
Cons: Could have had fridge in room but not crucial
Location: Good location near 2 metro stations and away from tourist crush
An excellent reasonably priced hotel providing all the basics including clean, comfortable room with good bathroom and helpful staff. Out of tourist crush but close to 2 metros, so quickly accessible to all Paris attractions. Big bonus is quality fresh market produce and supermarket in same street.

Best location Best bathroom!Posted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this hotel. We expected small but we never expected the luxury of the bathroom or the nice TV or the blasting air conditioner on the 2 very hot days we spent in Paris. At the end of each of the days we spent in whirlwind sight seeing, the room was a pleasant haven.
