Very traditional hotelPosted Nov 23, 2013
The hotel is very traditional, food was excellent but some facilities were average. The gym is poor and the heating was temperamental. Not bad but needs some tlc

Nice hotel close enough to tourist attractions.Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: The amenities, staff and accomodations.
Cons: Easier wi-fi accessibility: I had trouble accessing it from my room, but I had no trouble in their business center: and it was limited to 30 minutes p
The hotel maintained a wonderful sense of old-world charm with updated amenities. I liked its location, as it was in an active section of Paris, but removed from enough tourist traps to make it not too commercial. There were plenty of local places to shop and eat near the hotel. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, great for tourists.

Varied experience at Hotel LutetiaPosted Oct 4, 2013
Because we had three short stays in Paris recently, we experienced three different rooms at the hotel. Their comfort varied greatly. One was "excellent", one was "pleasing"and one was barely"ok". It had little light, no shelves in the bathroom and was very small. The price of the room did not correlate at all with its comfort level. The last room cost twice as much as the others. The location, service and ambiance of the hotel were all excellent and I would stay thee again, but I would be careful about the room chosen.

Large hotel in ParisPosted Sep 22, 2013
We paid for a superior room with a king-size bed but were given a very small room with a queen bed. The room was so small that two people with luggage could barely fit in. We asked the front desk to relocate us to a room with a king bed, as that is what we paid for, and they would not do so. We were told there were no other available rooms. It was an extremely disappointing experience.

Old hotel with nice locationPosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: The location, just in front of le Bon Marche and a couple of minutes walk from great coffees and restaurants
Cons: The hotel is very old, they should change the furniture and the beds.
It is a classic french hotel with very old furniture. The good thing about it is the location. The internet connection is horrible. The breakfast is very nice but the price is to high for what you get.

Upmarket Left Bank hotelPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Grand style and large reception area - although not much light
Cons: Decoration of bedrooms rather tired, although very good beds
Location: Well located for Left Bank and cafes such as Les Deux Magots and the St Augustine Market. We always shop at the Rue de Rennes.
On the main boulevard Raspail, but not too noisy. Best to ask for an inside room. Breakfast horribly expensive and not worth bothering Brasserie could for dinner though. Very friendly service there.

Lovely one night stay. Got an upgrade to a junior suite and the view was beautiful! Great location. Had some pizza from room service which was not that good, but the apple tart was great.

My Opinion of Hotel LutetiaPosted Aug 26, 2013
The hotel is an attractive place, both inside and out. the staff were helpful, and the rooms were fine and clean. Lutetia is well located at a Metro under-ground stop, which made moving around Paris very easy. The hotel has a variety of good French brasseries and bistro's within walking distance, and the area is safe, secure, and more upscale than others we saw. The concierge staff were helpful. I would stay there again. Shaun W

Nice enough hotel- wouldn't necessarily choose to stay there again. Would do some further looking at options first.
