Great hotel for one person or a couple.Posted Jul 12, 2013
Lovely hotel in a convenient area with shops and metro nearby. Very clean rooms and efficient staff. Our room was small, but well thought-out to fit as much as possible in. I'd put a chair in the room as you need a place for your clothes when you undress!

Excellent locationPosted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We spent 2 nights at hotel Mayet and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were tiny but spotless. Just one thing, avoid the rooms on the first floor as they can be very noisy. The location was excellent, with the metro station just outside the hotel. Highly recommended!

Excellent Parisian base.Posted Oct 22, 2012
Pros: Clean, stylish, comfortable bed and location to metro.
Location: Great location for an evening stroll to St Germain de Pres. Lots of designers shops and cafes.
Excellent value for money in a great location, just minutes walk from the Duroc Metro station. I would use this hotel again and have no reservation in recommending it to others.

Cute decor, clean, modern, friendly staffPosted Sep 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
I missed a flight and kindly asked the hotel to move my reservation and they did! The staff was very helpful and I had great conversations with. The decor of the hotel is quirky, modern and cute. The room is not big, but by Paris standards, not bad. The bathroom was nice and new. The location of the hotel is not by the touristy area, but by all the gourmet shops. It's couple of blocks away from the Metro and very convenient. I appreciate the localness with nice boutiques, restaurants and markets. Barefoot Contessa's apartment is a few blocks away!

The cupboards of ParisPosted Jul 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Hotel was in the perfect spot for us, but why are middle range Paris hotels so small? This one was beautifully refurbished, wonderful use of limited space. A courtyard view turned out to be a white wall only 6 feet away. All very claustrofobic. How do they charge these prices? Would have been nicer if the air-conditioning unit had not leaked all over our clothes, but Hey the breakfast was good

Fantastic Hotel for a City BreakPosted Jan 17, 2012
Pros: Clean, Hygienic, Great Location, Quaint Room and Pretty Decor. Fantastic Bathroom/Shower. Very Helpful Staff.
Cons: Storage space for luggage was quite tight. (But Manageable)
Location: Great Access to Paris as there are two Metro stations within 2 mins walk (Vaneau/Duroc). Most attractions within a few short Metro stops away.
Extremely clean hotel. Very happy with the room. The size of the room is quite small but this only accents the beauty of the hotel as it is a quaint Paris city centre hotel and in comparison to the price of other hotels in a similar central region its very good. The bathroom and shower were fantastic, modern and clean. Really nice decor in the lobby and room. Good security, someone on reception desk 24 hours a day whom were very helpful on all matters. Its not a big fancy hotel but has everything you need for a short City break. Ideal for a couple. There isn't much happening in the direct vicinity in terms of bars/restaraunts/attractions but there are two Metro Stations (Duroc/Vaneau) within 2 mins walk away which give you access to the whole of Paris within a few stops. The Eiffel Tower, Champs Ellyses, St Germain 'Latin Quarter' (many restaurants/bars/cafes), Notre Dame, Musee De Louvre are all within a few stops on the Metro. The Metro system is easy to use and similar to the London Underground (for those of you who have used it).
