Fabulous Location, minutes from everything!!Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: The location is amazing, minutes from The Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Gardens, 2 minutes from 2 different metro stations and the Staff!
Cons: Personally, I would like a mirror & plugs above my dressing table! There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, but I like to get ready in my bedroom.
Location: Everything! 2 or 3 minutes walk to 2 metro stations, 5 minutes walk to the Place de La Concorde, the Louvre, opposite the lovely Tuileries Gardens...
I travelled with my 14 year old son for 1 week holiday trip to Paris in late October and we had a fantastic time here. The staff at the Mayfair were absolutely lovely from the moment we arrived, even though we were very early for check-in, they were delightful and put our bags in a locked secure area whilst we had a little wander around the local area (which was amazing). Sonia on reception could not have been more beautiful, smiley, helpful, interested and happy to us all the time (as all the staff were) and Ajit was so hard working and wonderful to us too, he took our bags for us and served us drinks at the bar (and chatted to us and made us very welcome all the time!) and served us breakfast a couple of times too, he was always smart, hard working, friendly and lovely. Indeed, every member of staff here were great, I just wish we could remember all their names! Need a restaurant recommendation or reservation? they are happy to help. Need to borrow an umbrella? no problem they have one. Older, Paris hotels are not known for being huge in square meters per room etc. so don't go for that! but if you want an amazing location and want to get the best out of your stay here, then talk to the staff, they are great! We did have some clothes laundered (back to us the same day even though not dropped off to reception until 10.00am and hanging in our wardrobe on our return) and they made restaurant reservations and so on for us too, so well done to the staff at The Mayfair from us!

Everything was excellent, the hotel is situated 5 minutes by walk from Louvre, 10 minutes by walk from Opera, where is a bus stop for bus from airport CDG!

Boutique still getting a feel for thingsPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Rooms clean. Centrally located.
Cons: Need to be more able to help with what to do in the city and where to eat.
Location: Very centrally located, but with the Metro, does not matter that much.
The rooms were fine and centrally located but expensive. The internet did not work well at all. The staff tried to help but were not plugged in at all (couldn't get us tickets for things and did not have good recommendations for restaurants). I was a bit put off that after making the reservations needed an expensive upgrade the kids rooms to fit all 3. No real breakfast options for the kids made this tough too.

Central Location in ParisPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Very friendly, personal service and great location for sightseeing.
Cons: Cant think of anything.
Location: Museums; Louvre; Orangerie; Rodin; d'Orsay Great collections of wonderful art. One really needs much more that the few days which we had.
Hotel Mayfair is located in a short road Rue de Roget, off the Rue de Rivoli which runs alongside the Tuilleries. Hence it is very centrally located. The Metro station 'Concord' was a short walk from the hotel. The staff gave us a friendly and efficient welcome and our room was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast room is pleasant and also staffed by friendly people. There is a choice of A La Carte menu or Continental or Full Buffet breakfasts, which were more than ample. Clara at the reception desk was able to recommend nearby restaurants and make reservations for us. We had a couple of days of rain during our stay, and were pleased that the hotel had an ample supply of umbrellas for use by the guests.

Perfect Location and Perfect StaffPosted Jul 25, 2013
Pros: The people who work here are very kind and professional.
Cons: Having to leave put a bit of a damper on my day
Location: This hotel is right next to the Westin Paris
I stayed at the Mayfair from July 13th to the 22nd and occupied room 59. I have no complaints and would urge any reasonable person to stay here for the following reasons: 1. The room was large and the bathroom was American size. If you dropped the soap it was not necessary to exit the shower to retrieve it. 2. The room had no street view and this was good because it was completely quiet. 3. The bed was comfortable and perfect. I slept well. 4. The people who work at this hotel are very pleasant, kind, and professional. Every morning the two receptionist would print me a map and directions to the site I was visiting. 5. The room safe was misbehaving and it was fixed within 10 minutes. 6. The in room refrigerator was full of what anyone could possibly want. The prices were reasonable. 7. The location was perfect. A twenty minute walk would take you to most tourist sites.
